I don't know the laws where you live, but here they give you a ticket if it's your first offense. It's like $200. Then you just go to court and pay the fine.

fines, court costs, if suspended for DWI, and driving on it, you may be ordered into drug/alcohol classes in order to get your drivers license back, then in order to get it back, you'll have to get an SR- 22, proof of insurance before they will give it back to you.....You can get a lawyer, but your still going to have to do what the judge tells you, a lawyer would only help you if you were famous!

Lawyers are VERY expensive!! I think they are (for a crappy one) like $50 per hour or something. I would go with the state's lawyer that they provide you. You will be going to jail or if you are really lucky, get a fine or community service.

Youre going to pay a fine.....a lawyer...and loose your right to drive longer.......depending on how much you can pay your lawyer depends on if you go to jail.

my sister got arrested and she had to spend $450 for bail plus court costs and community service in Wash state

the first time you get a fine....the second time 30 days in jail and a fine the third time it's a fenaly and you get one year in jail.
