Don't they realize that the difference of the gifts is obvious?..Why do they do this?

She and I had a colossal falling out almost 3 years ago during my parents divorce after 35 years. She left him to move 500 miles away. 2 years later Dad filed for divorce and is now married to his H.S. sweetheart. The straw that broke the camels back after her years of emotional and physical abuse of me was when she tried to break up my marriage. Her side of the family, including my sister, were no better, they all ganged up on me just for having my dad over while he was in town visiting. I have not spoke or seen any of them since. Even though I’ve refused them, mom is sending cards with money in it to me and the kids and still refuses to apologize or even talk about the whole situation. She's extremely narcissistic and easily justifies her bad and mean actions. I just want them to leave me and my family alone. Finally coming to this decision took years and lots of other bad situations to make me finally say ENOUGH! What should I do now that the unchanged cards keep coming?

I have a 22 year old brother who does not work or go to school. Anyways my question is he is VERY impatient and yells at my mom constantly and says does not care even in public. How the hell can this stupid kid change? PLEASE HELP!!!!! I want serious answers nor dumb ones cause I am honestly fed up with this kid.

I am an estranged (alienated) mother and have met other mothers who have been railroaded by the family court justice system.There are no support groups in our area and I would like to start one as I have found many people are suffering the same injustice....Fathers, Grandparents, and siblings alike. I have found that just knowing that one is not alone in these experiences,helps greatly in the healing process.

I was excellent in studies but for quite a long time i remained inactive in class-i had very low self confidence.But now when i realised the importance of being an extrovert i decided to break the cycle of anxiety .I m trying very hard to get out of it but my elder sis' is quite sarcastic in behaviour;she tries to make me feel that i can never get out of this anxiety-infact publicly she always makes me feel low& same with my sis-in-law. I m very close to both of them & NOW I FEEL THAT THEY BOTH ARE NOT MY WELL WISHERS which actually hurts me.I feel like all my support system is cut off! plz suggest me something("~ ")

Let's face it. Everybody grows old. Everybody once strong starts to wither- at least a little. Why do so many people treat their own parents, grandparents who have looked after them, nourished and petted them in their childhood as vermin? You lived with your parents when you were a child, why can't they live with you when they grow old? They too long for some family, and don't want to be just admitted into an old-age home. Why do so many families literally discard the elders of their family? Are they a financial burden? Does the age gap disturb you? Do they rant along? Can't you cope up with treating their illness? They fall ill too many times for your liking?

Hi, I've got a cousin who lives in Missouri, and I live in California. I haven't lived in Missouri in about 3 years, but when I lived there (which was about 4 years overall, I had a cousin who constantly tormented me whenever I was around her.) She would intentionally exclude me, humiliate me in front of other family members, and ignore me and never really talk to me, and any attention that she did give me was usually negative and critical. First she told me that she did these things because she knew it bothered me, which she probably does know, but then she told me that I did something to her, but she didn't say what I did. Then she told me because I am younger than she is, then she told me I have an "attitude problem." Doesn't it sound like SHE'S the one with the attitude problem? And even if I did (which I don't), what does she care and why does she feel the need to harass me? She just won't give up,and I've developed many health problems. Am I being bullied?

Ever since my brother moved out of the house His lifestyle is getting worse. I think hes ditching more of his college classes because he is frequently staying home and just sleeping in days and then sneaking out at night. Im very worried about him because ever since he's left hes gotten skinnier and hes paler and more violent. I think he has a drug problem and Ive told my parents but they keep ignoring me and everytime i mention this to my brother he blows me off and gets mad at me. What should I do I am very worried about him :(

My sister is 22 and she still acts like a teenager. I am her younger sister of 5 yearsand she is still living at home and taking my things, even my tip money I earn at my job. Ive told her numerous of times to leave them alone and told her how much it upsets me that she takes my things and never gives them back or damages them but it doesnt seem to phase her? after supper probley 15 minutes when my mom and step dad goes to the their room i go and take a bath and then when i come back over into the living room to look at tv i can hear her jumping counting to ten but she already when to a place before to get some help for her not eating but she went about a year without eating but now she eats and i'm happy because of that but every night its like that jumping please tell me what to do ? i already told my step dad and my momma.

My 19 year-old sister was recently kicked out of my house because she couldn't keep up with her bills and was constantly into trouble. Now she has my husband's car because he agreed that she could use it as long as she pays the car insurance for it. The problem, you ask? She only wants to pay for half of it because he has been in to accidents over the past 5 years. We're only asking for $115. I only pay 88 for my car, so why should she determine how much she pays if we're being this generous to her? Everytime I broach the subject, she goes balistic. As if I have any right to the subject. To make matters worse, my husband is deployed and cannot deal with the issue directly. Only through me. He says that if she can't pay the car insurance, then get the car back. But she refuses to do so. What do I do?

Heres my story...

This Woman I was seeing and felt we had a future together moved in with me, she agreed or should I say offered to pay half of all expenses. She could afford to with the job she had. Well in the first 3 months her daughter destroyed all of the down stairs carpets (stained beyond fixing) doubled my power/water/sewer bills and never helped clean or cook etc.. Now this person was nothing like this until she moved in and her daughter was always great, to get to the point she suddenly just moved out of the house, it was trashed and she never gave me a dime. What can I do about getting money out of her. Please answer after you've stopped laughing its a true Dilema..

Okay, so my fiance says my family does not treat me fairly and they do not treat me with respect. I have known this for a while, but they are my family and I feel that I need to keep in touch with them. My mother disrespects my fiance all of the time and tells me I can move back into her house if I ever wanted to. There is nothing wrong me my relationship with my fiance, I am just the baby of the family and I think my mother is scared to let go. I have tried talking to my family about this, but nothing ever changes. I dont want to make my fiance upset, but at the same time I dont want to lose contact with my family. Can someone give me some advice?
