My mother forgets my name sometimes...?

.....Its absolutely mad! She will say something like " Carla go get the dog." But my name is not Carla! It is Lillie! Its weird because she does it all the time, I have no sisters named Carla she could confuse me with, and she is not a very forgetful person.

Don't you think thats a little ODD?

Yeah it is a little odd, but I think whats more disturbing is that picture you have of yourself online. From your question it appears that you are minor, and that picture is provocative and giving the impression that you are nothing more than a sex object looking for ....... well negative attention from men.

That picture screams " I have no self-esteem, I am no more than an object of sex " Perhaps this is because even your own mother doesn't know who you are, but I doubt it. I think you should take that picture down, and go buy a book on how to increase your self-esteem.

As for you mother, have you ever asked her why she does it?

Have a serious talk with your dad to see if he notice it. And talk with your mom and ask her why does she keep calling you the wrong name. It might be early signs of Alzheimer and she should get treated for it because it gets worse as you start to get older. Or unless you change your name and want to called Lillie and your birth name is really Carla, Then she has every right to call you Carla.

she should go to a doctor. does she (did she) have a family member named Carla? my mom calls my brother, her son, by her brother's name and my son by her son's name. once she said all 3 of her sister's names before she got to mine.
