I've encountered guys who've admitted to being deadbeats, and feel guilty for abandoning their children and mistreating the mother of their children. Whereas their guilt makes no financial difference to the other parent, it briefly shows to others that they are human. For the parent who's supporting the children, knowing of the other parent's guilt is better than thinking that the parent has no conscience at all.

My parents (mom) is wanting to move to Missouri. I life in OK, near Tulsa I am 18 and a JR in high school. I am in the Army and taking and taking college classes (IT), (math), and (history). If I move I will loss some of my college credits, and my benefits for the Army will change a lot. I pay for my food I have been paying rent for 6 years, paying for every thing that I need my self for at lest 6 year +. I have two part time farm jobs plus the Army. My best friend has said I can come live with him and his parents. He's in the same things as me. His parents had said its ok to move in with them. But I don't really know if I should stay in OK or move with my parents. My dad and I are very close, but my mom and I are not very close. Or should I just get my own place?

It all started when i moved back to az my brother started talking to my boyfriends sister and they started saying i love u before they even meet each other. when he came out here for christmas it started a big fight between us all. he left and came back out in january. then him and sheree (my boyfriends sister) took a plain back to tx to move his things out here. she left her kids with us without even asking if we would watch them because she lives with us then they moved him in to my house without asking. so we left them the house and me and my boyfriend moved out now my brother just got divorced and not even a week leter he asked sheree to marry him she said yes now my brother just called telling me that he didnt want to talk to me every again. what do i do?

I have 2 girls. My oldest has had it rougher than my youngest. Because of the things she has gone through she has one attitude on her. And it's not getting any better. There are days that i feel i love her sister more. It brings tears to my eyes to think that. I don't know what else to do/think. I've tried counseling, she's lived with Grandparents for a year and even they couldn't deal with her attitude. SOMEONE HELP PLEASE!!!!!!!

all my life ive lived with my dad.
we lived alone and he and his best friend have done things to me that i think should be known
ill make a question for each and continue making questions as each happenes, though i hope nothing else happens. im sorry i cant say it all at once but im still uneasy about sharing this all with you all. so please help me and talk it out with me and be patient.

when i was 12, my dad came into my room while i was sleeping, with his friend.

After the Mardi Gras parades today, my friends went swimming because the weather is kind of warm in New Orleans, & a pregnant lady knew she didn't know how to swim &was trying to show off & jumped in the deep end (15 ft. end) of the pool & drowned, & now everyone is upset & blaming each other for not rescuing the lady. When she was screaming for help, people thought that it was 2 kids horseplaying. None of these people were trained lifeguards, & now all of the family members are blaming each other for her death. I wasn't there but my friend told me about it, & she heard about it.

so... first he married some lady, then he got divorced. Then, he married another lady and had two kids, but then got divorced. THEN, he married my mom and had me. While my mome was pregnant, he was having an affair!!! My mom found out (she saw them kissing) and decided to give him another chance, but he still presumed the affair. They got a divorce. And a month after they seperated, he married the women that he was having an affair with. He moved to MEXICO, not NEW MEXICO, MEXICO!!! So.. then i only saw him like once or twice a year. Then after about five years, he got another divorce. Now, he married some mexican chick thats 26! HE's 51!!! His oldest daughter is like 20 or something!!! so his new wife and his sister could be sisters!!! His new wife wants kids.... so now they're probablly getting a divorce soon and then he'll get married again.

SO WHAT ARE YOUR OPINIONS ON MY DAD??? IS THIS NORMAL OR... JUST TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK... PLEASE!!!

Okay, I like the area I live in because there is this hot boy, but I know he'll never like me, but I still like seeing him at church. If I wait 2 more years, I can go to highschool with him. He'll prolly have a gf by then. Or, I can move to another place 2 hours away, where my mom will build a new {totally larger} house with a swimming pool and everything. [way larger]. Our 19 yr old moved out and shacked up with her boyfriend because we layed down rules that she said she couldn't live by which were help with housework, be home by 1am, no one allowed over until after dinner unless planned in advance. We were paying for her college and paying for gas and she was driving our new car. I feel that she will make mistakes like the rest of us but my husband refuses to talk to her. It's been 3 months and he is still angry. He won't go to counseling. He said she is a loser and he has no room for losers in his life. We have 2 other teens and we all agree that what she did was stupid and pointless. She has no job, no car and her boyfriend makes $10 an hour. They are living with his dad rent free. I agree with my husband to a point but she is still our daughter, do I go along with the tough love or is he going a little over board? Or maybe I am being to soft. Any suggestions???

I've got a problem wit my parents, Im 17 so really i can move out i think... anyway my parents think im a total screw up & we fight at least two or three times a day. They think my little sister is a picture of perfection, which even though i hate to admit it... she is pretty much perfect. Me n my parents have gotten to the point that we dont talk, & when we do we're usually screaming at the top of our lungs, Im not sure if i should stay or move out with my friend thats leaving for college station at the end of the summer. Im really lost on this n need help???

well i am an 8th grader. at this point in time i am failing reading w/ a 56%....yes i know ouch....i have a little sister i take care of, my dad is in afganastnad in this thing called a war. won't be back until summer.i have this bf he is the best in the world. but a sophmore.telling my mom will make her explode...not will make me explode....tomarrow i have a confrince with this teacher whos class im failing.... and still still help with my little sister and deal with extra curicular activities.

i was supposed to move into a house with my girlfriend, my cousin and her fiance... we already payed a security deposit of $1295 split 3 ways because my cousins fiance couldnt pay for some reason (yea right he makes more than anyone of us). so i payed 432 and my girl payed the same... my cousin backs out and mows tells us that we still have to pay "our share" of the rent... we arent living there and now can't live there... my concern is that i want my money back... what do i do? should we sue?

My wife and I have been together for almost 9 yrs and well I stop communication with my brother because he is a ***** and well hurt my wifes feelings before we got married. I love my wife so much and it doesn't even bother me not talking to him because well we had a strange childhood to say the least. my mother is getting on my very last nerve and inside i feel im a about to do somthing i will regret.All she cares about is the stupid house we live in nothing else.How does a someone get through

I have a issue with my son's dad's girlfriend, she text me saying i was an unfit mother, I called her a bit worse for wear and said some things i should not have done. I apologised for this. Since then and it has been 3 months she and her daughters have ridiculed and tormenteted my daughters at work because she and one daughter work with both my daughters and the other daughter goes to college with both my girls, so she is attacking them at all angles. The thing is I have a son withmy ex and he bought my other three children up for eight years, I am not allowing our son to go anywhere near her because she is slagging my whole family off even family members who are not involved, my other son called my ex a wanker, the result of this was that her daughter tripped my daughter up at work and she walked out, it is not the first time. I am adult enough to know this is stupid but it keeps going on and on what should I do?

My fiance and I allowed my older brother to move in with us about 3 months ago because the situation with him living with our mother was uncontrolable, and she was treating him badly. But, him living with us isn't working out, hes unable to pay his portion of the bills and rent, he has a really bad attitude towards me, im guessing because he believes that since were family he doesnt have to treat me like a real roomate, we're not getting along, and I want him to move out. I dont want to ruin what relationship we have, and I'd hate to see him move back into my moms, but I can't take him living here anymore. What should I do to get him out of my house without causing alot of friction between us and the rest of our family?
