Here is my take. You can be a Stay At Home Dad - and yes have fun all day.

However you still must accept all of the responsibilities and activities of being a SAHD - and that includes housework and cooking. My husband is a full-time househusband (no kids) and he is responsible for all homemaking: cooking, cleaning, washing, ironing, errands, etc. He can have all of the fun he wants - just as long as he gets done his tasks. Keep in mind if you do have kids, you'll also have to add childcare to the equation. Perhaps you can have fun with the kids! Good luck! I hope it works out!

If you are a stay at home dad and do your job correctly at home then you will not be having fun all day. Remember the house needs cleaned daily too. Now you'll see what your wife did all day. And by the way dude I am a guy.

Being a stay at home parent is a lot of work. If you think it will be easy or fun all the time then you are in for a rude awakening.

You should be a stay at home dad and see how it is for other Moms. Yes, it can be fun being with your kid or kids and then it will be hard at times to. I say go for it!

No!! at first it will be fun because its different from an office and you might have more liberty to do work in your pj, however it might do more damage than good. Yourself esteem might go down the drain because you won't have to get dressup to go to work!! you won't be having adult conversations because you wont have adults to talk. Wife might expect a real husband not a babysitter nor a housekeeper.

Sure.
Just make sure the laundry is done, the house is clean and dinner is on the table when your wife gets home from work. You wouldnt expect anything less from her now would you????
