My sister is 14 years of age and her cousin is 12 years of age. My sister is currently in a really long relationship while her little cousin is just moving around. My sister have tried to explain to her that messing around with people that or 3-5 years older then you only want one thing. Her cousin yells at her grandmother when she tries to tell her things(right from wrong) My sister was crying earlier today because she thinks she will get in trouble for not telling her parents about her little cousin behavior. I just need to know how can we get her to understand to stick to boys within her own age group?

My teenage daughter in college gets all defensive about going to college parties and 2 and 3 day trips out of the area. She claims she is not partying and drinking. I am worried because of her defensive behavior when I ask her about this. Her brother got into trouble from the same things and use to sound the same. Is she hiding something or should I let her do whatever she wants like she says she wants. I pay all the college bills, car insurance, car and expense money. Am I to protective or should I let her do whatever she wants? It si very difficult for me being a single parent and also having another girl on her way to college in the fall. Help what should I do?

younger sibling? I do and she is 4 years younger! She is my stepsister so she still has her own room @ her mom's but I'm the only one that doesn't have my own room out of 4 kids! She might live in that room but the least she could do since I am 4 YEARS OLDER is knock before she comes in when I'm in there! Cause sometimes I'm changin and she'll just burst right in w/ one of our dogs and I'm like,"Callie!! Get out, I'm changing!!!!!" Does anyone else think it is unfair?

Her parents never took the young girl to church
Never spoke of His name
Never read her His word
Two non-believers walking lost in this world
Took their baby with them
What a sad little girl
Her daddy drank all day and mommy did drugs
Never wanted to play
Or give kisses and hugs
She'd watch the TV and sit there on the couch
While her mom fell asleep
And her daddy went out
And the drinking and the fighting
just got worse every night
Behind their couch she'd be hiding
Oh what a sad little life
And like it always does, the bad just got worse
With every slap and every curse
Until her daddy in a drunk rage one night
Used a gun on her mom and then took his life
And some people from the city took the girl far away
To a new mom and dad
And kisses and hugs everyday
Her first day of Sunday school the teacher walked in
And a small little girl
Stared a picture of Him
She said I know that man up there on that cross
I dont know his name but i know he got off He was there i

I am with this guy, and we are engaged... my parents dont know yet because they dont like him. My step mom told me if i married him id be disowned... (she doesnt know we are engaged) its heartbreaking, and they havent even gotten to know him. he is the sweetest guy ive ever met and ive never had anyone treat me so well. i know without any doubt in my mind that he is the one. the only reason my parents dont like him is because he is a little bit older than me. i plan on moving out in a few weeks and have trouble telling my parents because i know they will freak out. how do i move out with the least amount of tension between me and my parents?

My mother in law was diagnosed with Alzheimer's last year, and has been living with my husband and me since then. To say that it is a trial everyday is speaking lightly... my husband can't handle the stress of it any longer and has decided that it is time to place her in a home that can provide the care that we just can't ...physically and medically any more. How do you get over the guilt? We have tried to talk about it, but it's hard. I just want to make sure we are making the right decision. Tell me about your own experience and maybe that will help me deal with ours. Peace.

This is what happened. Monday morning I took my daughter to work( her car is in the shop). On the way home, I hit a patch of ice at a stop sign and skidded out into the middle of a state highway. Thankfully, no semi's were coming or I wouldnt be here today. My son was very upset about this, because the police never called my husband to salt( he works for the street dept.) My son e-mailed the police and asked where they were and why they wasnt out patroling and keeping an eye on the roads( they call 90% of the time to say the roads need attn.) Now my husband is really mad at my son, and when he( my son) gets home from work, I have a feeling theres going to be a big fight!! Was my son wrong to e-mail the cops?? Or is my husband being a jerk about the whole thing?? I'm to upset to think right about this, so I need people's opinions. Thanks alot!!!!

my daughter lives 2 hours away with her father. due to the school she attends, a very good private school in which she excels in academically, and we chose not to move her. She doesnt want to move, so I am moving back to the town I where they are living. But recently, she has been acting really depressed and giving me hints that shes missing me alot. I talk to her everyday, several times, and see her often. Yesterday, she asked me to look at a video on google images that was about a little girl who lost her dad on 9/11. The girl was talking to her dads grave and telling him how much she missed him and all the things they used to do. I lost it emotionally. I asked her if she felt like the little girl and she said she did. I told her that she hadnt lost her mom like the girl in the video and she will always have me. What do i say to her

How do I make THEM stop? How can I make my Grandmother, Mother, even Father, understand who I acually am (Personality-wise, clothing, language, etc...) without them thinking I've been lieing to them or need to go to the nut house?

How I can I get my mom to stop buying me these shorts, which are nice, but to my distaste, too short and....girlish? I'm a GIRL, but I don't like wearing dresses, short shorts, long skirt, mini skirts, skirts in general, very short shirts, or anything too girlish/hooker-related.

I like wearing shorts, jeans, pants, T-shirt, Longsleved shirts, and baggy shirts. Help me please, I'm going crazy with this, I hate arguing with them, but I'm REALLY uncomfortable with these kind of clothing. X(

ok, i'm 19, have a fiance that i've been with for a lil over a year, still go to school, will be getting a job soon that pays well, and i live at home with my parents. i have been having sex with my fiance since a few months into our relationship and have kept it from my parents until now. my mother has never really trusted me, but i recently realize that the looked through my stuff not too long ago and found some pregnancy tests. so basically, i think she now knows about my sex life. she's been extra strict with me lately since i think she found them, but i know it will hurt her if i just come out and say that i'm having sex. not only that, but my fiance said he'd never come to my house again if my parent knew "for sure" that we were having sex. my mom has even told me that she knows what i have been doing, but is waiting for me to tell her. what should i do? should i lie and say those tests arent mine? how do i resolve this issue and everyone be at least comfortable with everything?

It happens on a consistent basis for things that do not require immediate attention, and you ignore their phone calls at work, and they E-MAIL u at work instead, would you find this irritating?

It would be done in such a fashion ... subject line = CALL ME.

You see on your caller ID, that parent has called you numerous times already; you know it is not an emergency since it happens frequently.

On a scale of 1-10 (10 being most annoyed), how annoyed would you be?

I am 32 YEARS OLD; This has been going on for YEARS!

When my grandad died i kind of blamed my self, no one in my family knows this (or t least they didnt until now) but i was the last person in the family to see him that day. I knew there was something wrong, his voice wasn't the same, he was pailer than he was usually and this is going to sound really weird but his smile wasnt the same, as meaningful as it normally was. I knew he was going to the hospital and at the time i thought it ws just him worrying about what the doctor was going to say because he was supposed to be giving up smoking (it didnt work that well) but when i was told instead of feeling sorrow (i felt that too) i felt guilty like i could have done something or i should have realised that there was something wrong.

She has been on high honor roll most all her driving days. Now it looks as though her grades will drop to where it will be much more expensive for her car insurance. Should we just go ahead and foot the bill, or at least have her pay the difference? She will be 18 in April.

What's the worst feeling of these 2: to feel guilty or annoyed?
Let's say you are fighting with someone. So he or she is screaming at you. So what is worse? For you to scream back and then feel guilty or not to scream but to feel annoyed for the rest of the time?
lol I'm confused! I don't know what to think!

My sister says she doesn't want to live with us anymore because we don't respect what she wants (We don't like her bf and the bonsai tree which contains insects to be near us or we don't want to help her protect it). My brother hates us because he doesn't find peace in having a sufficient laptop for his online games (he wants a high powered computer and etc when the one he has works pretty good).

I believe my family is falling apart except for my mom, my little sister and me. My older sister and brother always fight and are upset with what is given to them even though it's okay to live with what we have (we have a roof to sleep under, food, and each other whom we should love and respect). This is not happening. How can I make them see the beauty in having life at all and as a family? Honestly, this is getting out of hand >.< Thank you!
