Have you ever read the story of the boy That cried wolf.... How can you possible be so selfish that you will cause your father so much pain, grief and anxiety. How would you feel that because of your foolish game your dad gets a heart attack and dies because of the shock you caused...his death would be in your hands forever because of a childish prank.....Maybe your dad had his reasons why he don't want you to go study in another country you need to grow up and talk to him on a grown up level. Ask him why do he not want you to go away to study...and actually this stupid prank answers that question.....you are still very childish and not ready to take on the world with out adult supervision....That is probably why your dad doesn't agree with your going away. You need to take life more seriously and stop playing games...maybe if you start acting more responsible then your dad will give in...this is just my opinion..try it it wont hurt..i believe when parents have trust, confidence and can see their child or children is responsible then you have earned the rite for some freedom...and by this plan you have showed none of these qualities at all......

Wow. Killing yourself as an excuse is definitley gonna tick off your dad. If he loves you very much, he'll be really devastated to see his son lying on the floor "dead" and later on figure out he isn't.

As for details, you might be missing something like Paramedic. I mean, if you're laying down the floor with blood all over you, your friend should call the ambulance, right? Then fire trucks and ambulance should be there as well. You may want to make it seem so real. Good Luck.

Yea you missed something...........TRY GROWING UP!!! I don't know all the circumstances but someday you're going to be a parent and what goes around comes around. What a childish, hurtful, selfish little boy you are. Imagine how your father will feel when he sees you lying there. The needless pain and hurt. What are you thinking. I thought 2 yr olds had tantrums wow a 20yr old tantrum is alot worse. You can't go around causing others pain without getting pain in return. What if your Father has a heart attack seeing you lying there and dies. How will you live with yourself ? Try thinking beyond your selfish needs and put yourself in you Dad's shoes. Think this over before you do it..............

Why on earth would you attempt to play such a cheap trick on your own father? It's obvious from what you've quoted that he loves you, so what's the purpose in doing what you plan to do?

Work on this from an adult position, e.g., "Dad, to be the man I want to be, I really need to study at (fill in the blank). It doesn't mean I don't love you; it just means that this is something I really need to do. I'm not going away forever, just long enought to (fill in the blank); besides, you'll always be a part of my life no matter how far apart we are." Etc., etc., etc.

If you really want him to treat you like an adult, you're going to have to start acting like one - and it isn't that hard to do. Just be responsible, caring, and empathetic toward your father - you'll probably be surprised at how supportive he can be.

IT AMAZES ME AT HOW IMMATURE SOME 20 YEAR OLDS ARE NOW-A-DAYS. WHY DON'T YOU CONSIDER BRINGING YOUR SELFISH, IMMATURE, SIMPLE-MINDED LITTLE A** TO MY STREET TONIGHT. BUT LEAVE THE FAKE DOCTOR AT HOME. I'LL GET YOU A REAL ONE.

WHAT AN IDIOT!! IF YOU ARE 20 YEARS OLD, THEN BY ALL NATURAL MEANS, GO AHEAD TO WHEREVER IT IS YOU WANT TO GO STUDY. YOU'RE AN ADULT. JUST REMEMBER TO GET A JOB THERE SO YOU CAN PAY FOR IT. AND DON'T COME HOME CRYING TO DADDY WHEN THINGS DON'T WORK OUT LIKE YOU'D EXPECTED.
