Her parents never took the young girl to church
Never spoke of His name
Never read her His word
Two non-believers walking lost in this world
Took their baby with them
What a sad little girl
Her daddy drank all day and mommy did drugs
Never wanted to play
Or give kisses and hugs
She'd watch the TV and sit there on the couch
While her mom fell asleep
And her daddy went out
And the drinking and the fighting
just got worse every night
Behind their couch she'd be hiding
Oh what a sad little life
And like it always does, the bad just got worse
With every slap and every curse
Until her daddy in a drunk rage one night
Used a gun on her mom and then took his life
And some people from the city took the girl far away
To a new mom and dad
And kisses and hugs everyday
Her first day of Sunday school the teacher walked in
And a small little girl
Stared a picture of Him
She said I know that man up there on that cross
I dont know his name but i know he got off He was there i

Concrete Angel by Martina McBride. A very touching song. I like The Change by Garth Brooks. I always say to my daughters I am what I am , and there is little chance I will stop being the kind of person I am. Even though the world may seem like it is in a downward spiral I try to be true to myself and my values.

"mom" Composed via John Lennon, yet I desire Kubb's version. Its quite unhappy by using fact its all actual. Lennon's father left him and his Mum while he replaced into quite youthful and while his Mum married a clean guy, she did not % him in the homestead anymore. He replaced into approximately 10 and he had to pass away and pass and stay together with his auntie. Then, after some extra years, his Mum died. Its so unhappy! I additionally locate those quite unhappy: "Up the Junction" and "Heaven" via DJ Sammy

I Love that song. I never heard it before. Thanks for sharing those lyrics. Oddly, enough I write songs like that and I felt so all alone. I never knew anyone else wrote like that. You don't say who wrote this. Do you know? Did you write it? Wow! I am blown away!
