Dude, YOU HAVE A PROBLEM!!!

Let me explain further. I am the son of an alcoholic, and became an alcoholic my self. Most of the time I figured I was just having fun and not hurting anyone except myself. One day, I woke up after binge drinking, with a tremendous headache and realized that I was on the verge of losing my family again. By this time, I was already divorced once and although not married, I had a son with my then and still current spouse. I was not about to lose my family again and stopped COLD TURKEY. It has been about 10 years since that day and I am enjoying the time I am spending with my kids, realizing that I don't have to drink or act like my dad and show people that a person can have fun without drinking alcoholic beverages.

In furtherance, two of my next older brothers died while they were intoxicated. I realize this may not mean much, but, you have to understand these older brothers were my playmates and we did a lot of things together, as we lived out in the country. Both brothers died at beer parties in the middle of nowhere when things got out of hand.

However, this is your choice to make and a choice you have to live with for the rest of your life.

If you were doing all that exercise while drinking before hand, then you shouldn't see much of a change in weight without drinking. Besides you were only drinking 4 glasses a week which won't do much to your weight in the first place considering majority of why drinkers gain weight is because of all the food they eat when drunk and ends up getting stored as fat once they fall asleep.

I rarely ever drink. When I do, it's just a few sips because I can't stand the flavor of alcohol. Binge drinking is very dangerous; you need to get help. Even though you aren't drinking every night, you splurge when you do drink, and that's not healthy. People don't realize that binge drinking isn't just bad if you plan to drive, but it's very damaging to your brain and liver. Maybe you need to talk to someone. Hope everything works out for you.

The average person will have a drink, and think nothing of it. When you question yourself about having a problem, you have one. I've been sober for a long time, but if I'm asked "How long?" I say, since I woke up this morning. Listen to your heart.

if drinking is interfering with your life in ANY way you are drinking too much....if you can't go for more then a day or two I would say yes, you might have a problem. Try going to a AA meeting....

I don't drink any alcohol because it tastes and smells horrible plus it causes accidents and ruins relationships of all types, family and romantic. Alcohol is lousy. If I had my way, Prohibition would be a current worldwide policy!

It already is a problem. You need to lay off the stuff for a while like maybe several years!
