Since you are a girl it takes a lot for parents to let you do things on your own but by not lying to your parents and telling them something and following through with that they will trust you. If you tell them that you are going to the football game and you decide to sneak off and they find out that is a good way to put the trust meter back down to zero. You can live your life but in order to do it and especially if you live with your parents you have to be honest with them to earn the things you want to do

Why dont you make up your own song for them. Tell them that you love them and your starting to grow up but even though you are growing up you still are gonna need their love and support and your gonna show them with your ACTIONS, that they can trust what you do.

Because your gonna be open and honest with them and EARN their trust that you are gonna take with you the lessons they have taught you and continue to teach you as you go along in life. That if you are not sure about things in life youll trust them enough as well to come to them with your questions and concerns.

There really is nothing wrong with being over protective, it shows that they care about what happens to you, and they know the risks out there and they want to keep you safe. By Showing your parents that your responsible it will show them that they can start trusting you more and more with lifes big decisions. good luck
