Any mothers of tween twin identical girls?

I am wondering if there is anyone out there like me who are raising tween twin girls. I was wondering how they get along? Do they share friends? How are their levels in school? Do they persue similar interests or go out of their way like mine do to be totally different? Are they close?

Mine are 10 years old and fight with each other constantly over everything. They both are on about the same level academically although I definitely keep them in separate classes at school.

I have found that if they meet a friend together then they will share that friend (like on their soccer team) but friends they meet separately at school are only one twins friend.

Mine both seem to like similar activities and are now realizing that they have to compete against each other and it's hard for one to do better than the other one, but that is just something they have to learn to deal with.

They have extremely different taste in clothes but on occasion will pick similar items. One of my girls does not like for her sister to look like her or wear her hair in a style that she has deemed her hairstyle.

I know that even with all the fighting they love each other and I remind them on occasion that lots of people have sisters but few have twin sisters.

I'm not a mother of twin identical girls, but a close friend of mine is a father to a set. They're two different little people, but very similar in a lot of ways. They get along well for the most part, although they have typical sibling fights. They do share friends, it seems and from what he tells me, they're about even with each other in their school development. They have similar interests, but there definite differences. Emma is the little diva, very much a princess, and she loves to be told she's pretty. Sydney is the tom boy and she wants to be a firefighter like her daddy. They're definitely close to each other, but they also have a big brother and they're close with him as well.
