my boyfriend had cancer, you would think he would look after himself and excise after his recovery, but all he does is eating fatty crap food and drink sugar frizzy drinks, he rarely exercise.. i've told him that he is going to have another bout of cancer if he doesn't stop, but he got angry and defensive. I've been thru alot with his cancer and i don't want to go thru that again, should i break up with him? we are both 27, been dating for 18 months

i saw one episode where the dad spent $500,000 dollars on this girl's party.

What is going on in their heads???

(My dad was watching and told me that even if he made a lot of money, i wouldn't ever have seen a cent of it (never mind the fact that i'm 22 and have a college degree and a full time job, ha ha). i was proud of him.)

I'm 5'2", and most of my family members are average or shorter than average, except one of my brothers who is 5'11" but it sure gets old when his wife who's 5'10" seems to think that being short is not good I guess since it looks like her daughter is growing taller and taller every day we see her and she points out how good it is that her girl is getting taller than some of relatives so far, but she just WON'T STOP! and she really thinks( considering her comments) that tall people are BETTER than short people eventhough she knows that isn't even important to us. How do we make her understand in a racional maner that we just don't see that as the most important thing in life just like she does?

Right now, I have "hand, foot and mouth" disease.
Ive had it since 2-3 days ago. It will clear up in about 7-10 days..
Obviously it hasn't cleared up yet, and theres still spots all over me..
The thing is...I went to school today with them.
My parents forced me to.......are they crazy?
The told me "you'll be fine..just make sure to wash your hands"
What the heck!? The doctor said it is a very contageous disease..and my parents don't seem to understand.
Are they out of their minds? Everyone at school will end up having spots all over them before you know it!
How am I suppost to convince them that this is more serious than they think??

Check out this post. I have a feeling it's legit. What do you think?
http://phoenix.craigslist.org/stp/275213732.html

I sent him this email:

Dear Sir,

Wow, what a post and a potentially beautiful opportunity for someone and for you. My intuition is that your offer is at face value. Quite a responsibility to support and nurture someone and try to teach them without spoiling them. This will be a particular challenge because you may be helping someone who has been hurt and may not have had much guidance. I hope you don't get too badly hurt. Daughters can hurt. I'm sure you're wise enough not to expect a fairytale though. There are so many young women who would value you and your offer. There are hundreds or thousands of young women right here in this city who could really use a father, because, sadly, fathers are notoriously bad. haha It's almost epidemic. Most aren't equipped to handle a teenager's or young woman's emotional needs. We need our fathers, and if we don't have good

Stay at home mom for 10 yrs. The 2 youngest are almost out of high school. I ran a home-based resume writing business when they were little and for the past few years I've been working on getting a BA in History. So I have not worked in the corporate world for about 10 yrs now. I will graduate in December, but I don't want to get a job with a big corporation. I want to work at a job related to my field, in order to put my son through college. And after that I wish to be home agan. I love being home. My husband has no problem with it. He makes enough money to support us. Is there something wrong with me because I have no desire to get out there and make a living? Although I do let my opinion be known on various financial issues, I defer to my husband regarding the final desicion on most issues, whether it's financial or family related. He always takes my opinion into consideration and often decides to do exactly what I advised. Am I some sort of throw back to an earlier era?

Okay, so I'm pretty much ready to write my dad out my life and my mamas finally okay with that. She used to bug me bout forgivin him, but I'm a cold unforgivin person so I didn't want to but I did.

My dad has continously lied to me since he and my mama seperated. He has broken promises to me and hurt me emotionally for some old b*tch. He lets this woman run his life and has missed 4 of my birthdays bcuz she didn't want him to go. His lies have gotten so bad that even my friends don't expect much from him and know how he is. I always thought that bcuz my parents weren't together anymore and he couldn't see me whenever he wanted to, he would put out a bigger effort to see me and stay in my life; I was wrong. I haven't talked or seen him since Xmas, he hasn't called me until recently.

He knows what he does hurts and bothers me and he keeps sayin he's sorry, but he keeps doin it, so I guess he ain't to sorry. I'm tired of givin him chances, but should I give him one more?

My hubby & I love each other very much. The only problem is that he is mama's boy. His mother stays with us & he is very devoted to her. There is no trouble yet between him, his mom & me yet. But it does get to my nerves at times. If sometime I say him something about him mom, he turns deaf ear to it & instead begins finding fault in me. His mother too loves to spend more & more time with him & chats with him a lot more than me. Also she comes to sleep with us sometimes. She makes him do things as she wants. She treats him like he is a kid. Talking to him doesn't help. What should I do? Please help.

My husband deployed a month ago, and its been kind of hard on me espically with me being nine months pregnant and caring for our other two children. I was really relying on my family support and they all promised they would be there if I needed to talk or anything, well since my husband left I've not spoken to my family. They don't answer, they don't return calls or anything. And the one time I did get a hold of my mom, she ended the call in less than 1 minute!! I have 4 sisters, and not talked to any of them. My husbands family calls and checks on us everyday. What should I do? I feel so betrayed!

he should fake an illness to get out. Well, he and his girlfriend broke up a few weeks ago and he seemed depressed. She contacted us today and said he tried to kill his self and is in the hospital. They found cocaine and ecstacy in his blood and I'm thinking he did this deliberately to get discharged from the army. When he and his sister were younger, they had to live with us due to their Mom being incarcerated. I told my husband at that time his son needed counseling . But the son said he was ok, but I knew better. So all this time he has been having issues that finally came out. What should my husband and I do to show him were here for him? He is in New York and were in SC.

My father recently passed away in January. I need to get a lawyer to handle his estate. He lived in NH but worked in MA. I live in MA. Do I have to get a lawyer in NH or can I get a MA lawyer?

She thinks that she makes the rules for him. (Even as a baby, I could say don't give him something specific to eat, it would make him sick. Later in the day, she would give it to him--just to see if I knew what I was talking about. Then she'd tell me you know I was actually right, it did make him sick. (I think that is cruel)
I say he can't have something, she tells him that's o.k. she'll get it for him. They bad mouth me constantly.
When my husband (her son) was in the hospital with cancer--I stayed in the hospital with him 24-7, yes so did she, but she would have the doctors giving her his medical reports. (I'm his wife, legally I should be able to make the decisions, I'm the one on the living will and his medical power of attorney--like always I swallowed my feelings and just let it go.) One time in the hospital, she actually turned to me and said, "I guess I have to say you love him. You never once complained any time he asks you to help him."
