Honestly that makes sense. They feel anger towards a new beautiful relationahip when theirs failed miserably. They don't want to be happy for their children when they aren't.
Oh and another thing I must say, I feel so bad for my further husband. I KNOW that their mother-in-law will be a b!tch!

No not all are evil. Mine was wonderful. I think maybe, just maybe the problem is with the daughter-in-law. Because all of these perfect daughter-in-laws would certainly turn out to be perfect mother-in-laws so the issue would be nonexistent by now. To many (not all) daughter-in-laws think they own their hubby's. They really don't want their mother-in-law's in their lives. Now it is perfectly OK for them to have their own moms. They leave no room for error or time to actually form a relationship. If the mother-in-law isn't perfect, in her eyes, from day one mother -in-law is doomed. Daughter-in-laws can treat strangers better than their mother-in-law. I don't understand why the mother of the wife and the mother of the husband are not treated equally in their lives. It seems to me wife's mom always gets better treatment. Do you think a mother with a son is any less a mom? Maybe hubby's defend their Mom's because it really is the wife with the issue.

I think you are making a statement that does not apply to most Mother in laws. You know they are just people too. Maybe you could show a little more interest and see if you find this to be true.

No, most mothers-in-law (the correct term) are absolutely wonderful people. My mother-in-law is a widow, and she's a very gracious lady.

Talk to her take her out every mom love their son and they don't like other women love them more or do what the son want bcos she was doing that while you never there before . You took her responsiblity which she had for son.
