Right now, I have "hand, foot and mouth" disease.
Ive had it since 2-3 days ago. It will clear up in about 7-10 days..
Obviously it hasn't cleared up yet, and theres still spots all over me..
The thing is...I went to school today with them.
My parents forced me to.......are they crazy?
The told me "you'll be fine..just make sure to wash your hands"
What the heck!? The doctor said it is a very contageous disease..and my parents don't seem to understand.
Are they out of their minds? Everyone at school will end up having spots all over them before you know it!
How am I suppost to convince them that this is more serious than they think??

Tell the school nurse or the principal! They should understand the seriousness of a highly contagious disease and, hopefully, will order you to stay home (your parents can't argue with them).

Good luck!

That is like a sentence to Hell, when you are in Highschool. If I were your parents I would have let all this clear up at home and saved you some grief.

H,F&M disease is contageous, but it isn't serious and once you've had it you won't get it again... The spots aren't pretty but they aren't dangerous either... Just don't touch people and make sure you use an anti-bacterial wash...

Here is a piece of advice: LIGHTEN UP!!!!

I would go to school and go directly to the school nurse and talk to her.
Good luck

Get your doc to phone them, or the school, or both.
