my mom ran away from her parents, because of the same reason i want to. How do u deal with the fighting? sometimes i find myself with my music so loud that it hurts my ears to block the fighting out! My grandma wants to help by getting into my business. I understand she wants to help, but i don't want her to. I have found myself wanting to run away, but then turn around from going into the alley back to the house. How do I deal with it? My BFF is helping by having me talk to her, but its not enough, and i try to go to her house or do something with her to just get away! Is this running away from problems? How can i talk to them? I get yelled at for just trying to tell my so called dad that it needs to be solved instead of just increasing the anger! Plzzzzzzzz help me and be nice about it because this is a serious matter! No bad stuff plzz!

My Mom's 46th birthday is coming up, and I don't know what to get her. She's gone through (and is still going through) an emotionally distressing divorce. I want to get something meaningful, yet in expensive- but I don't know what. She's not much of a "material" person, and doesn't really like jewlerly... loves to cook, etc. Any suggestions? I have a nephew who is married and has three children. Every time we (the family) turn around we learn of yet another ridiculous event or situation their kids (ages 7, 4, 2) have been in. Example: the 4yr old girl running down the street whenever they exit the car, or hitting her Mother and saying "NO", or getting lost in Wal-Mart. I could go on and on with the stories. The 7 yr old boy is a stepchild to my nephew, and he obviously has serious emotional problems too. And the two yr old is starting to act like the older ones. It is so obvious that these two nitwits have no clue on how to parent correctly, but how do you go about telling them? Any advice would be appreciated. p.s. We have talked about Supernanny/Nanny 911

A little girl was born. Her mother got divorced and got a restraining order on the dad based on his drug and alcohol use. The little girl never saw her dad after she turned one. The mother remarried. The little girl wouldn't listen. The mother would try and try and try to teach her daughter the simplest things, like saying thank you when trick or treating or not to run around during naptime in preschool. Her mother didn't know she was being molested by the babysitter on a regular basis. Then the little girl started behaving worse. She was described as a child that had lights on, but no one was home. She got kicked out of a christian preschool for having a potty mouth and being mean to the other kids. She even got into trouble for inappropriate things like undressing and exposing herself. Her mom's husband adopted her, but never really bonded or even tried to. He had his own kids with her. When she was 7 she got into a fight with her mom and screamed she wanted to die.

my bro went into the army in may and is stationed in alaska for the next four years and he never calls his family. i feel like he doesn't want to talk to us. i've told him how i feel and e never listens. how can i get him to talk and tell me how he's doing. i feel like the army is his new family and he doesn't care about us any more? what can i say to him to get him to understand we still love him and miss him--and that there is a life outside the army!?

please help me i'm sooooooooo scared. my dad hits my head and my mom pinches me really hard when i can't finsih my hw late at night since im a slow worker. I wanted to tell someone but my mom said that if i do my dad will lose his medical license and we'll be homeless. i can't tell my school guidance counselor because she'll tell my parents who will hurt me and i'm not comfortable talking to her. i have bruises on my legs and arms. if i called the abuse hotline they probably wouldn't believe me because i'm just a 12 year old. please suggest a way i can make them stop

I was thinking about getting a camcorder and taping her and my dad a lot so it can help me remember her and also i want my kids to be able to see her and know her. I am 21 and I am with the guy I will be marrying when i am done with school -- the hardest part is knowing my mom won't be there for my wedding and when i have kids...I actually told my BF that if my mom can't be there I don't want a wedding...I don't know what to do -- or the best way to spend to time I have left with her...any advice or personal experience would be great -- my mom and i are very close and i am the only child...

My older Brother got parking tickets on my car months ago and he keep tellin me hes gonna pay it but never does and my license got suspended because of it so about to 2weeks ago my landlord came for the rent and he paid mine instead just waiting for me to get home so when he did i said to myself ok i 'll just use that money to pay the tickets he got on my car not to mention he lost a $30 pair of gloves of mine so he comes to me askin for his money then i tell him payin my tickets with it so he rants about how were gonna fight if he doesn't get his money and i dont plan on givin it to him cuz if I do he'll think he can bully me cuz im the youngest he wouldnt dear try this with any of my other brothers cuz he'd get the crap beat out him so i guess im gona have to kick his *** to get some respect and theres no weight or height difference between us so we'll be brawlin

Started dating a yr. ago, after being a widow for 2 yrs, at that time. Husband had died within a month of diagnosis of lung cancer. 3 kids, 2 at home, daughters 14 & 16, This is my first serious relationship with so many real feelings involved, I had a few men that I dated this past yr., but not like this. I am 48 and he is a divorced 55 yr. old man, w/50% cust. of his kids 10 & 13, and they are fine w/ dad being w/ someone. How do I make them come around? she gave me up when she was eighteen years old.
my birth father had died in an accident and i believe my life turned out better than it probably would have before.
my birth mom is a very nice woman and i've only seen her a few times.she is my adoptive parent's cousin.is it too late in life to speak to her?

We're separated but i still love him and supposedly he loves me too but sometimes i'm not so sure anymore.For instance,last weekend he took me and the baby shopping and out to lunch.I know he has to help with the baby and stuff but he doesn't have to buy me things and he does sometimes and we actually hang out together.But then othe times he won't call or come see me for a few days and i just don't understand what are his motives behind his actions.Why does he act like he cares about me sometimes and other times he acts like he doesn't??Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions for me, please no rudeness....

I don't have any babysitting training (plus babysitting is definetly not my thing) and I don't need much money, just enough to buy clothes, food, movies, stuff like that. My parents will not pay me to do chores, and my allowance is 13 dollars a month. I don't mind if it's hard (not too hard though) and it can't be too time consuming. (I'm not willing to sacrifice my grades) Please help.

Im just 17 and my brother is 13. The problem is that my brother is acting really juvenille and horrible towards my mother’s decisions. For example, if my brother is grounded and wants to go out with his friends, my mom says no but then my brother insist and asks my dad. Which of course says yes. Then it leads into a fight between my mom and my dad and then i get into it telling my brother that he is grounded and that he should respect my mother’s decisions. I think that my brother’s actions are tearing up my family apart. I dont know what to do anymore. I need advise to see if family counseling would be the right choice. Please help me.

Two homies just dropped and ones been hurt. Your cuz'in made the mistake of walking into the wrong house and you have no idea where he is now. Your mom is calling the sheriffs constantly for not following her orders, trespassing, attemptive murder, vandalism and millacious mischief ON YOU. You've done treatment, your finishing skool, and you stay home to avoid trouble.Your mom's husband puts you in juvee and jail every chance he gets. You can't help to have harmful thoughts to the home and them. You need to run, you've been homeless before( slept on the railroad track, HS track, and at parks). You exscape to that little peice of paradise with Drcgs because your mom has your rapest watching you and one living with you. A man you were with for money is stalking you and your in debt. You only have one friend and thats your cuzins. They got your back when your "homies" want to take you out or when you know too much. You carry a knife with you because we all gotta die one day....

Today I did not want to go to school so she scream at me for 2 hours telling me i good 4 nothing and she started to throw water at me she pour 15 cups of cold water on me! Saying i had to get up and go to school! I said no am tired! And when she pour water on my art work i got really upset so i called 911 and the police came! But before they came my parents made me change my clothes and lie to the police officer or else i would have to sleep out side!
