my parents abuse me i have bruises all over how will i report this?

please help me i'm sooooooooo scared. my dad hits my head and my mom pinches me really hard when i can't finsih my hw late at night since im a slow worker. I wanted to tell someone but my mom said that if i do my dad will lose his medical license and we'll be homeless. i can't tell my school guidance counselor because she'll tell my parents who will hurt me and i'm not comfortable talking to her. i have bruises on my legs and arms. if i called the abuse hotline they probably wouldn't believe me because i'm just a 12 year old. please suggest a way i can make them stop

but the thing is my mom says that we'll have no money because my dad is the one who makes money... how can i get them to both stop without getting him in big trouble, my mom threatens me all the time wheni want to report him and she's even disconnected the phone sometimes

thanks for all of your support, but i'm gonna tell u i dont think it's life threatening it's very painful but i don't think i'll die since they only hit my head every so often, it's usually just arms and legs. i do think i'll try to call the abuse hotline when my parents are sleeping.

Abuse is abuse. They need to be reported. It doesn't matter if this is life threatening or not. It could escalate to it. No matter what you do, your parents have no right to pinch, hit, punch, etc. Your mom doesn't want you to report it because she'll be hauled away too. Understand that you will have to either go live with a relative or a foster home. I don't know your situation, but that's pretty regular fare. You need to report this to someone at school. Things won't change if you don't stand up for yourself. No child should ever have bruises from their parents. Their job is to protect you, not harm you. BTW, don't listen to your mom when she says you'll be homeless. You won't be. Trust me.

Call the police or the abuse hotline. They will believe you but you need to make the call as soon as possible. You cannot be guilt tripped by your mother into not revealing what you are going through. If your parents are punished it is because they deserve itThey could really end up hurting you even worse than they already do. None of this is your fault and you should not have to live like this for 1 more day.

call 911 right now and tell them, they will take care of everything within 10-15 mins.
And who said abuse hotline wouldn;t believe you. Since you are a kid, they will specially believe you.

If the phone's disconnected then run out of the house, go to the nearest phone booth and dial 911, it free, or ask someone in the road to make a call for you,.
dont worry about your place to live. You will be taken care of. there are special places for situations like this, You may even be able to lieve with one of your relatives that you like.

Get a ride to the police station and tell them you're being abused. Let them take photos of the bruises. A Guardian Ad Litem will represent you. They defend children in abuse cases. Don't worry about money. You will be taken good care of sweetheart.

If what you say is true - then your father DESERVES to lose any medical license he might have, because he is trained to care for people, not hurt them; and if he has such disregard for his own child's well-being, he is in no way qualified to be administering medical services to strangers. I am a police officer and you should go to your local police station. Don't be afraid of telling someone. You have the right to not be abused. The police will contact a child service worker to come out to speak with you. Don't wait any longer.

okay sweetie, i know you are so scared, and tired of this abuse. Yes, if you called a hotline, they are obligated to beleive you. Is there a teacher, friend's parent, trusted adult, preacher, or any other adult you feel comfortable with? This is how to get help. They will know who to call for you. As for your parents, you can't fear them anymore... They are terrible people for what they do to you and need to be stopped. You won't be poor, but they will be stopped. Please Get HELP!!!

I suggest you call the police immediately..
You have to make a choice...are you more content with the lifestyle that your father's medical license and abuse provides, or would you rather have nothing and not be abused?

Go to the police
