My hubby is white and although he seems very attracted to me and is very personable and friendly to my sisters and my friends,he seems friendly, but there's always a rigid and defensive undertone in his behavior when around my brothers or any other black male he comes in contact with. His mother is friendly and personale with me,but VERY rude, rigid and defensivearound any black men. With black women, she behaves OVERLY nice(almost sarcastic). What could this be?

the adoption was in 1955 when mom was preg with me without telling my father as they said she was unfit to be a mother and took my brother & sister from her but yet still left her oldest son in her custody. Her married name was Zimmerman, my father's name was marvin leroy zimmerman, i've seen the birth certificate's for my brother and sister, his name is terry lee zimmerman, and her name is pamela kay zimmerman at birth. from what i understand they were adopted and their name changed to Anderson. mom had a major stroke in the 90's,( laid on the floor for 8+ hours when i discovered her when getting home from work. my 2nd or 3td cousin tells me that the ol man is somewhere in wisconsin or minnesota, as for him i don't really care, i would really just like to meet my brother and sister, and have them mmet their mother while she is still around. I know this went thru D.A. Blodgett home in 1955, but they won't give me any info

ok, so sometimes my brother will do something minor that isn't a big deal, so my parents just give him a little warning, then he keeps doing it figuring they don't really care, then he keeps doing it and the my parents get really mad and my dad and bother usually get "physical" and my mom just yells at him, i am the younger sibling in this situation and i'm just left watching there, sometimes I go outside and take a walk, but inside it destroys me, sometimes my brother even breaks things sometimes, I even think he might cause a divorce sometimes, I want to know what to do to make this to stop happening, oh and we go to church every week and I have a religion class and my brother has a confirmation class, I am 13 and my brother is 15.

I am a peaceful person, and I love my family, but this is just nutz.. Should I move on? and forgive her?

3 years ago, my dad borrow loan from one of the bank to support me for my sudies which was a twinning programme to oversea. Till half way, the loan was not enough for me to complete the whole programme and i've to come back to my hometown and find work. Now my dad have to re-pay back the loan and the interest charged was too high for him. He's not in good mood everyday. I wanted to help but my salary was not even enough for myself. He is angry at me since then and whenever he saw me he did not even talk to me. It is not my fault anyway, it was his decision to send me oversea. I did not ask for it. Why is he blaming me then? It makes me feel very guilty.

wondeirng what a curfew for a 17 yr old college student. he has done very well in his first semester. he also playes JR.B hockey with guys that go down to the bars. my son does go down with them and has never found himself in a situation he cant handle. he has payed for his own car and insurance gas... pretty much living on his own with us helping with food and shelter. He also has a girl friend who is 19 and she does not have a curfew. he has been not coming home latly sleeping over at her house. and goin to the bars more often. he turns 18 on the 31s of december. i might add that he does handle himself like a more mature 17 yr old.. he has always been the youngest in everything he has done being born on dec 31st. what do you people feel i should do. right now i have it set to 1 am and he feels he cant do anything with it because he gets home from hockey at 11 and by the time he gets out with his friends it already 12.... am i just having trouble letting go of my Baby...

I am completely against Abortion (because I'm Catholic) My Daughters had to quit Girl Scouts because some of the Cookie Dough money was going to abortion. We've had to stop doing alot of things because of it. Now is seems their is nothing that they can do that doesn't involve Abortion.

My brother is 13years old so you think he's just going through a period of his life, but no. He's been pretty bad for the last 4years. He's really smart, but he doesn't have a conscience and doesn't care about anything he does. He's failing most of his classes just because he doesnt feel like doing classwork and gets As on tests. He treats my parents like ****, telling my mom he wishes she were dead and even my mom says "your brothers gonna get my dad and i into a divorce one day". Everytime I try to talk to him so that he can grow up a little, he just rolls his eyes. Also, he has an uncontrollable temper. He punches my best guy friend in the balls, he started hitting my dad in the gut, and hes punched me in the arm a couple times (luckily we all know how to deal with him so he doesn't know how to hurt us more like little bruises). And whats weird is that when he's not in this funk, he can be a really cool kid. And I have no idea what to do about him

My parents provide food, shelter and clothing for me, but I have been hit, screamed at, and pushed. Not on a day to day basis, but enough to make me hate living here. Does this even qualify as abuse? I want out, but I'm terrified the system will make me stay here, and then I'm not even sure what would happen.

We are supposed to be going to my parent's for boxing day and there is only enough room for 1 adult and 3 children, which means that my husband will have to stay at home, when really I want us to go through together as a family and they cannot be bothered to find anyone else to help. What can I do?

Dad died suddenly 2 weeks ago
I have been the primary problem solver for any and every thing for these past few weeks ( I'm 50)
Mom has been very mean and hateful to me my entire life BUT I can't find it in my heart to disown her even though she has been mentally brutal to me since Dad died
Brother who is 53 has been useless with problems, Mom's needs, actually has been a hinderance creating MORE problems

We go to a very nice resturant every Christmas- getting dressed up- have done that for over 30 years
All decided on thats what we'll still

brother corners each individual to tell them we are having Christmas dinner at his house this year
(brother has 6 cats - 2 not housebroken) house is a furball, pee pigsty and my son is highly allergic to cats
WHAT would you do?
