It happened 6 weeks ago and I have not spoken to her since, I am not happy about this and I will not forgive her, nobody got hurt, but I am afraid that it might happen again.
I am a peaceful person, and I love my family, but this is just nutz.. Should I move on? and forgive her?

Believe me, I am not a wissie person, I felt threatened. I do not want it to happen again, and I do not want it to escalate into something else.

Move on, forgive her. As long as you and your husband are married, she will be a part of your life. Why was she mad at you? Was it a I am going to kill you offense or was she just making a point and happened to have a knife in her hand.

You say your not going to forgive her but then ask if you should move on and forgive her. You need to make up your mind dude.

Considering she shook a knife at you I would say your foolish if you carry this around with you....My advice...forget it and move on. I don't really see what is to forgive.

i think there is a difference between forgiving someone and in trusting them

i had a friend once who started to get aggressive when visiting me and my family

it was 2 years before i permitting him to visit again (and yes he did know why) but when he did visit us again although he wasn't physically aggressive this time - he was verbally aggressive towards us

although i have forgiven him - he has done nothing to earn trust back from us so he wont be invited to visit us again for a LOOOONNNG time to come if ever

Did she seem violent or did it just hurt your feelings? Excuse my asking, but I didn't see it. Has she always been like this or has she changed?
If she seemed violent and if this is a relatively new behavior, you need to discuss this with your husband. She could be mentally ill and need treatment.

If she is older she could have easily hurt you, herself, or someone else. You need to have a candid discussion with her about her dangerous behavior and it wouldn't hurt to involve other people who love her in it.

I'd of shook her until her teeth rattled or fell out, whichever came first.
