Help him write a letter to Santa. Bake cookies together to leave out for Santa. Read story books.
You are a good person and a good sister. This child needs love and you are giving him what he doesn't have. Bless you and your family.

First of all I would like to tell you that you and your mom are both extraordinary people and the world would be so much nicer if all cared for others like you do. There are some great books out there check the local library and the librarian will suggest to you the ones that would be age appropriate. You may want to check out some of the Christmas sites on the web as well, that tell not only stories of Santa Claus but also explain the miracle and gift of the birth of Jesus the Christ. Christmas is the joy that comes from being with the people that we love and know that others care about us. That little boy will have a fabulous time with you and you family. Good luck to you and may you and your family have a very blessed Christmas.

Three is a fun age for Christmas as the child is aware now. Take him to see Santa, read him "Twas the Night Before Christmas", drive around, show him the Christmas lights, if you haven't already decorated a tree, let him help. The ornaments will all be on the bottom but that is the fun of it. Have him make an ornament or decorate a santa cookie. Just spend time with him and be excited yourself. My daughter is also a foster mom and has three foster kids right now. We try to make Christmas especially fun for them. Good luck and happy holidays to you and your foster brother.

Do you have a friend who could put on a funny voice/do an impression of Santa?

If you can think of somone - perhaps an older relative, here's what to do....

Get your friend to phone your house - you answer it and then ask your 3 year old to come to the phone. Tell them it is Santa and watch their faces light up!

Your friend should be armed with some personal info to make it more real, and they should ask some traditional questions, like 'have you been a good little boy' 'what would you like for christmas'

The little boy will be blown away!

My mum used to tell me that the fairy on top of the tree came alive on Xmas Eve and sprinkled fairy dust on me to make me go to sleep so that Santa could bring my presents.
Also remember "Santa Clause The Movie", my mum used to tell me that was the real Santa in that. Sad i know but i believed her and it made my childhood Xmas's great, i still love Xmas too this day and I'm 22.
Hope you all have a good Xmas xxx

When I was little, my aunt had us all write letters to Santa and found a service that wrote letters back from him. It was really neat. Also, Christmas songs were a big deal and Christmas books. Good luck and I am thankful for families like yours because I was in foster care for ten years and I know how much those families did for me now that I am an adult and am very grateful to them.

Have him write a letter to santa, one that will guarantee a reply and then get a male friend/relative to phone him and pretend to be santa himself ringing up to check if he has been a good boy. Works on my children every year, can`t stop talking about it for days when I do that for them.

Ahhh, what a lovely caring person you are, just find some really magical type of stories, maybe some books from the library would help or you could take him into the childrens section when they have storytime.
