Family - November 2006

Today my dad kept asking me what my password is for my email address is and I kept repeating what the password is and he gets mad. He 's a nice dad but I disrespected my dad today for having a bad temper. Should I just forget what happened today and move on.
He said he will start doing something bad to me if I disrespected him in a bad way again. So I wrote down my email address and password for the computer.

My girl 1urned 13 some months ago and gave me a hard time. She became disrespectful, took to fighting me and disagreeing wth me on pratically everything. Sometimes it was almost impossible to keep my temper, though we've never spanked our kids. My husband went on business trip and some days later I got stressed, work, fights ate home, and spent 10 days in a clinic. During this time my girl changed drastically, became sweet, lovely, apologized for fighting me so much, was of great help and always with an extraordinary good will. She treated me with much love and attention, I can say she was simply WONDERFUL. So wonderful that I myself started thinking that maybe she wasn't so sassy and disrespectful as I used to think, but maybe just childish, maybe she was just looking for a kind aof self affirmation, hormones. Now, I'm Ok, back to work and she is still lovely and sweet, though she is back to her normal life, hanging out with friends, playing sports. But everyday she says Mom I love ya

They won't even call here if they think I will answer the phone. I am never invited to their homes or when their dad takes them out to eat.

and not one person called me and my full blooded brothers or sisters to tell us the news:( My brother is fighting for his life as he has galloping cancer:(
I am very upset about this because after all he is my big brother with a 30 year difference, I love my big brother not one of his kids or his wife bothered to get a hold of me or me full blooded brother and sisters, do I have a reason to be upset and made at all of them? them being my half brothers children and wife as well as my other half brother and sisters, is it immature to be mad?

Have you found yourself tongue tied and avoided the subject in hope that they are taught sex education in school. And not in the playground like I was. Or have you managed to talk to your children without wishing the ground would open and swallow you up? How was it for you...the explaining I mean?

i am giving my patner such a hard time, i am hating his kids, and giving him a really hard time when they ring every ten mins, just cant stand the sight of them, plus i dont have any sort of relationship with his ex, we just argue every time we speak to each other, or she will ring me and say my patner is in love with her, then he has been sen a few times going into a lasses house, dont know wat to do, my head is in bits.

The last erm...4 years now i have hyped myself up for christmas but by dinner time, im ready to cry my heart out, get back in bed and roll into a ball. I always feel awlful because my mom is piggy in the middle with me, my sis and step dad and basically i dont like my step dad...and xmas just aint jolly no more. In the grand scheme of things this is not a major problem, but i would appreciate some suggestions please!
My mum wants to know what I would like for Christmas. The trouble is, there isn't anything that I want or need .. I just can't think of anything!
She says she is getting big presents for my sisters this year (a computer for one and a camera for the other) so she wants me o think of something of about the same value, but I'm not into ansking for things, and I can't think of anything anyway! However, she won't be happy until I come up with something and I would like some suggestions please.
I don't wear much jewellry, I own my own home and it is pretty much how I like it, any ideas??

My mom and grandmas often accuse my father (in a nice way) of saying inappropriate things or acting inappropriate. It's not bad stuff. Sometimes when my mom is upset with my dad she will call him her Third Child. Also on even important things like going to the doctor she often has to schedule an appointment for him and will go with him to make sure he doesnt blow the visit. An example of one of my dad's inappropriate comments (there are many) was over the summer my boyfriend and I were wearing shorts and sitting real close to each other on the couch (we were JUST sitting together, nothing else). Suddenly Jamie had a strong physical reaction that only a healthy young boy can have (he was blushing as red as a beet and squirming around lol lol) and my dad said we better feed him some saltpeter. I didnt know what that meant at the time but my mom did (my dad is an ex marine) and she got REALLY mad at him. Oh I know what it means now. Do males ever completely mature?

what has the world come to?......my life never seems to get good, and it will never do. im really depressed and only 16, my mother has been cruel and evil to me, i cant cry because of the mental torture she has put me thru. she has made me want to die, i drink myself stupid because of alll the stuff thats happend between her and i. i now live with my stepdad because i cant stand too look her in the eye's or be anywhere near her. when i was 3-4 years old. my real father used to beat her silly. and i seen it all. her and my real dad put me in a cupboard to sleep in. it was practically my bedroom i had no bed, on a 1 seater sofa to sleep on. they put newspaper on the floor for when i wanted to go toilet. they treated me like a dog and everything my dad did to her she blamed on me. i really dont know why. she has never told me she loves me. she will only tell me that when she is drunk. my heart is broken in pieces and i cant be happy and i hate it. i wait till the day i die.

This is really mean but we laugh about it every yr. Do u have a certain relative that no1 wants to sit by at a holiday dinner? And why not? We do- we love "HER" to death but she always digs at her scalp and it ends up on her shirt! u just wanna throw up! My dad will say something sometimes but he don't wanna hurt her feelings so most of the time we all end up getting half sick and leaving the table then she gets mad and don't know why.(she's 70 something)

Namely, my brother-in-law... he's an emotionally abusive, self-centered sociopath. Puts on a good front when he's around other people - but it's a different story when he's alone with my sister-in-law. My husband and I are tired of enabling his behavior and tired of enabling my sister-in-law's enabling... we do NOT want to cause a seen or create more tension today. Okay, I was telling you all about my friend Jason yesterday, the one that was abused by his parents... Even **after** we went to the station and and reported it, NOTHING HAPPENED, except we got in trouble! Now I am even more angry, my parents sent him home this morning because it's Thanksgiving! He's going to get hurt by his parents, I know he is.

I can't call anyone because my parents won't let me use the telephone until tommorow for filling a falase police report. I could sneak in a phone call I guess but what should I do? I know he's going to get hurt!

My grandfather is really mean to me. Everytime I see him the first thing he does is insult me by calling me ugly or stupid! And, when I do good in school he always just makes fun of me and twists it around and he doesnt even act proud of me. Its so annoying! And I know I shouldnt let him get to me but he does. Well I have to go down to his house for Thanksgiving dinner later and I really dont want to. Should I fake sick to get out of it? My mom doesnt like him either and she said I could try that. Do parents have awareness that they are not simply raising a child but that the parent is also raising a future adult. While raising a child the parent teaches them how to cross street safely, groom themselfs well, be responsible with school studies etc. But do parents also have the awareness of their responsibility that they are also raising someone else's future spouse, co-worker, neighbor, parent, friend etc. Parents are not simply raising a child...their are also raising a future citizen in their community, a lover, parent, friend etc. who is going to personally interract in anothers life one day. This can also carry over to raising a child to be savy in finances, to communicate responsibly, relate well to loved ones etc. We send them out there in the world knowing how to drive and bathe...yet have little education. of relationship, financial, self value etc. awareness / knowledge. Your thoughts?

this morning, i had a sleep over and my father brought home breakfest for me and my friend. I saw this delicious muffin and i broke a little piece off.
