Today my dad kept asking me what my password is for my email address is and I kept repeating what the password is and he gets mad. He 's a nice dad but I disrespected my dad today for having a bad temper. Should I just forget what happened today and move on.
He said he will start doing something bad to me if I disrespected him in a bad way again. So I wrote down my email address and password for the computer.

You should apologize for your behaviors of being disrespectful to him. And try not to get to upset in regards to him wanting your email pass code. It is probably not you that he doesn't trust, the Internet is a very dangerous place with a great deal of individuals with ill intent on their minds. And as your father it is his responsibility to make sure you are safe. He sounds like he loves you and wants what is best for you. Try not to be disrespectful in the future, just keep in mind, he is doing whatever he is doing for your best interests because he loves you. Good luck and God bless****

This is odd. You told him what the password was, but he didn't understand (I think that some of the answerers believe that you were reacting to him asking what the password was, which I don't think you're saying). Maybe the password was a set of words that sound like they are part of an ordinary conversation, so he misinterpreted the password as 'actual' speech.

Have you done something in the past that may have betrayed your father's trust? Are you in chat rooms when you get online? Do you have a boyfriend that your father doesn't approve of? Is your dad having troubles at work? Is something going on at home that needs to be addressed? Try to think of some thing that may be bothering your father. If you don't know, just ask him. I would want my kids to ask me if They thought I had a problem.
