They won't even call here if they think I will answer the phone. I am never invited to their homes or when their dad takes them out to eat.

IF YOU ARE MARRIED THEN THE DAD SHOULD PUT HIS FOOT DOWN AND TAKE YOU ALONG AS LONG AS THEY FEEL THAT HE'S NOT REALLY SUPPORTING YOU BECAUSE THEY DON'T INVITE YOU THAT HE DOES NOT BRING YOU IT'S NOT RIGHT ON HIS PART, AFTER ALL HE'S THE DAD AND THEY NEED TO UNDERSTAND THEIR PLACE, AND YES YOU SHOULD ALWAYS SAY HELLO DON'T PUT ON KNEE PADS SO YOU CAN STOOP TO THEIR LEVEL. Yes, beacause maybe they have mistaken you as someone else. Or maybe it's just hard for them to accept another person in their life. You should try spending more time with them and get to know each other better. One day they'll not treat you the same way they are treatiing you now.

Still say hello...u say they already hate u, so whats the worst dt can happen...keep being nice but not patronizing, its tough dealing with step parents and sometimes its not cos they actually have anything against the new'step mother'. Be nice, its tough for them too.

Their lack of manners shouldn't keep you from being civil.
It might be the thing that eventually breaks down the barriers.
Be nice and wait around till they realize that they are the ones that have the problem.

Yes be as polite as you can. Smile even if you do not mean it. Do not lower yourself to their rude level.
Consider yourself lucky that you are not being pestered by them...
They are not worth it. One day you will be the one who can face everyone and they will be the ones ashamed.
