In the grand scheme of things this is not a major problem, but i would appreciate some suggestions please!
My mum wants to know what I would like for Christmas. The trouble is, there isn't anything that I want or need .. I just can't think of anything!
She says she is getting big presents for my sisters this year (a computer for one and a camera for the other) so she wants me o think of something of about the same value, but I'm not into ansking for things, and I can't think of anything anyway! However, she won't be happy until I come up with something and I would like some suggestions please.
I don't wear much jewellry, I own my own home and it is pretty much how I like it, any ideas??

She obviously doesn't want you to feel left out, and you don't want her to waste her money on something you don't need, computers and cameras are OK in the short term but I think to go for something that you will remember her by, so just tell her that you'll love anything she gets you because it's from your mum...

Ask your local hospice if they need any biscuit's or things like that it will make you feel better knowing you have done something worthwhile. My Dad died in a hospice last year and the staff and doctors worked realy hard they deserve a treat at Christmas.

if you really don't need anything, why not ask her to make a donation in the amount she was to spend on you to your favorite charity or to some shelter. this way both of you get to feel the real meaning of Christmas - which is love and giving. hope you and your family have a Joyous Christmas.

A DVD recorder, they are now coming into their own, think of the films and shows you will be able to view whenever you want.
Better still, how about a video/DVD recorder, put all your old videos onto a disc.

Ask your mother to donate the money to a worthy cause/charity that she spent on your sisters. You are fortunate. Not everyone is.
