I would say its not all that good because kids start feeling very lonely. When their mom starts working she has less time for her kids and they begin to act up so they can get thier moms attention. The best thing you can d o is find a goos time to spend with them and dont ever ignore them just cause your tired.

What does third mean? It does not help to be away so much when you have kids. I think you know the answer. But unfortunately it is a balancing act between work and children. Even if your husband pitches in a lot you still need to have time together as a family. Maybe it is time to re evaluate what you are doing. Perhaps you can scale the work back or work in a different sector of medicine. If not then your children will suffer to some degree.

Spend time with your kids.
My mom works alot.
Im not affected.
Im in my teen years and dont have a life.
The real Question is:
How much time do you spend with your kids when your off of work?

the only one affected by this is YOU. You will miss out on your family, because time goes too fast and before you know it your kids are grown up and you didn't have time for them.

well, being 14 i think i would know. it does suck that my mom isnt home much. she gets home at 5, has to cook, clean, exercise, and take care of a 4 yr old. i try to help sometimes, but she still barely has time for herself, much less me and my sisters. ive grown farther from my mom because i feel like i cant talk to her. but i think it depends on how old your kids are.

As long as they have a stable home and parents are able to spend quality time with them, then they should be alright.

it depends on where and how much they work. If you have a nanny for them everyday that they knowbtter than you do, probably so.
