That's the problem with secrets, they always come out. What was done is one of the worst types of betrayal. What needs to be done, is ultimately confess. Then if he decides he still wants her(which I doubt he does) You being the reason should walk away. If children are not involved then "go for it" But, remember, she done it to him. You are Nothing. "Go Figure!"

Nothing particularly ever comes to good with affairs with married women. I guess I could tell you what you SHOULD have done, but it's too late now. You have to follow your heart. If you want to stay with her and marry her, you will have to see it through. I don't know what your brother is like or if violent or what. But perhaps you can talk with him by phone and see what he wants to do. Who knows, maybe he will let her go. Why didn't she just leave him and file for divorce? What does she want to do? There are a lot of things to fill in here, but since you know all the ins and outs, you will have to make a decision. You likely have lost any closeness you ever had with your brother and won't ever get that back again. Perhaps you have lost the respect of your whole family. So you can either apologize and try and make up for it, or you can simply desert your family and run off with the girl. Hard to say, but i'm sure you can come to some decision based on a look to the future and the greatest good for the greatest number of people.
