The only thing that me and my brother DO agree on is that we hate our half brothers. They're stupid and gay and I just can't stand them. Nobody can.

I got into an argument with my sister-in-law. I think both of our egos were in the way. My brother felt bad to be in the middle of it, but sided with her. I'm ready to move on and be a family again. We haven't spoken in almost a month. I'm open to trying to patch things up. I don't really want to apologize, because I don't think I did anything wrong. She probably feels the same way. She may be nasty if I call her or contact her - but maybe not. How should I move forward?

Anyway this has become an ongoing battle that my Father is not willing to accept. He wants grand kids period. How do I handle such an exhausting arrgument everytime he brings it up? I'm at my witts end, to the point I don't even want to visit my Dad. Somebody HELP...thanks.

I was adopted when I was 11 years old, a few days ago I got ahold of my biological mother who I have not seen for 12 years. I'm 23 now, married and have a 9 month old daughter. I found out that my mother is getting remarried, her and her fiance are coming over tomorrow. I'm real excited about this but I'm also very scared, I don't know what to do, what to say.... I just don't want to do anything to screw up my chance to get to know my mother.

Any advice?

For example, when you made funny faces, your mom might say "stop making faces or your face will freeze and stay like that".

My son has always had difficulty in social situations. He constantly feels like an outsider and he also feels bullied. He wants so badly to make friends but just seems not to have the social skills to connect with other boys his age. He crys about this and it breaks my heart.

I want so badly to help him. We've tried enrolling him in activities such as sports and scouts but that does not seem to work.

Has anybody else had this difficulty ... any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

My brother killed himself last night. He was 17. I did not see this coming at all. Just in a state of shock right now and wanted to find people who either have been through this before or have any good advice on getting through this, or helping my mom get through this. I know counseling is a good idea and I am going to try that. But just need people to talk to.

Hi all, I have a beautiful white knitted baby rug that my mother hand knitted. She made my sisters and I the same and its been used and used and washed and washed,. 3 grown boys later its in perfect condition and I hate to see it folded up in my cupboard. Besides a throw rug has anyone got ideas on what I could do with it, I dont mind it being cut up to be used for something crafty aslong as it can be kept.

My mother-in-law is turning 70 years old. All my husband's siblings wanted to have a party for her at a restaurant. So my husband and I decided to go to my mother-in-law's favorite restaurant to ask for prices. We discussed it with all of my husband's siblings and my sister-in-law (husband's brother's wife) does not want to pay and thinks it is too expensive. However, it the expenses will be split with the 5 siblings.

She claims that they have no money (which is a lie). They have the money to have an expensive birthday weekend for her husband.

May I also add that the birthday party for my mother-in-law won't be until the spring, which will be plenty of time for them to save money.

I just feel that she is being selfish. My in-laws have done alot for all of their children. She is also one of my mother-in-law's favorites. I would just love to tell her that her favorite daughter-in-law is really a selfish witch.

My parents like to sit around and talk constantly. They shy away from any activity and act like all they want to do is talk talk talk and eat eat eat. They are visiting me this weekend, and I'm already going nuts. If I take them to the movies, they talk through the movie and make it so no-one can hear anything...My dad is really loud and overbearing and always makes a scene when we go to a restaurant. Last night, my Mom asked our waitress how her husband died! How can I deal with things like this? I will see them in a half-hour. They also have their crazy little poodle with them! I love them so much, but it's really hard to be around them.
