No you are not being selfish, I agree if every one shows up your grandmother may feel that she is worse than she actually is. if you are up for it go at a different time and have a lovely visit

First of all I'm sorry about your grandmother. I know EXACTLY how you feel. My grandfather turned 100 this year...He was the spry-est old man i had ever met until about 2 years ago and his mental health has gone down significantly. We were very close until his health started to deteriorate...but now i hate to go see him. I still love him very much, but he does not remember me and it makes me really sad...i hate the thought that any day i could get the call from my family saying that he has passed on...I think you should go and make peace with your grandmother (for yours and her sake). If she does end up passing on, then you at least had some time with her to tell her how much you care for her. If she gets better and comes home from the hospital, then your relationship will be all that much better.

Yeah it does seem kind of selfish but understandable at the same time. Its hard when you realize the end is coming near for a relative. I think you should go anyway.
If you still dont know just ask yourself if you want to be there when she passes. Do you want to be able to tell her goodbye? If you do then go because you never know when that moment will be.

This is tough. If I were you I would want to go. If she does pass, I would want to see her a final time and make sure that she knows how much I care. I wouldnt want to spend the rest of my life thinking what if or sayin I wish or I should have done something differently. If you are religious, just pray that your grandmother gets better.

Death is the birth into another life, this world is meant to develop spiritual attributes to use in the next life, just liek the "world" in your moms stomach was used to develop your physical body parts to use in this life. I would show her all the love you can. Go.

You should go. This could be your last chance to see her. Don't waste the opportunity.
Your presence will not make her pass on.

I would go. You don't want to regret not seeing her during her last moments of life, if she does pass away.

Yeah, you're being selfish...this is about what your grandma would want, not you. Sometimes we all have to do things we don't want to.
