what would you do? i am really hurt with my friend,her b-day was last month and i gave her $100 gift certificate to help her get an ipod she wanted and now its my b-day and she returned the gift card back to me and said that we should not give gifts just take each other out to lunch,this really hurt because i really like her and wanted to give the gift certificate and i was not expecting for her to give me something back.
she did take me to lunch and gave me a card and the gift certificate i think the lunch and the card was great,
am i over reacting? should i say something? or just let it die?

i have a 2 yr old girl n her father is over $7000 behind. i have asked him to sign over his rights n i would drop the back childsupport. the office says they will find him n serve him papers to get him paying, but he isnt holding jobs. what do i do??

Its really the only sit down meal anymore in the modern times it seems to me. Its so hard for my family to come and so I make it easy for them, and its kinda hard for me. No problem really. Its worth it to see the whole family under one roof.

Hello people, Im 17 years old and in in the 11th grade...well my problems is that my mom past away 2 years ago..since my mother died i been living with my older sister shes only a year older than me...well i live with her and her boyfriend...now the situation is that i dont even trust my sister anymore because shes aways with him and she never has time for me i feell soo lonly all i have is my boyfrined that i lvoe so much!! he's always puts a smile in my face..and my best friend that always cheers me up..but i wish my sister was different and she also wants to control my life ...she gave me a cingular line with hers and her boyfriend but now she took it away 4 some reason i just dont know why she acts like that she gets mad at me everytime she argues with her man!! abd she also took my computer away too!! please people tell me something im going crazy!!! ok so I believe my dad has the ability to let me stay on his insurance plan. Recently his took me off dental and vision. It makes me really sad that he wouldn't put his best effort to make sure im insured, I'm a hard working, full time student. i always punished by little thing i did or something i dont have to do, and i helpd but i just didnt do that all the way. for example, today i help mom for washing dishes, i washed all the dishes we have, and clean the stove, i just didnt put every thing up because they are not dry. then mom go to the kichen and put the dish up, (it is her job). my step-dad see i was working in the kichen and now my mom pick up my work, and im watching tv, he punishme for no tv for a month!!!
the thing like that happend at least once a week. he think every thing others do is not good they should be punished. not only to me, in his compeny he always complain the worker is not respecful.
i dont have much freedom. i cant hang out with friend, (by the way im 14) im not even alowed to have a boyfriend, or send mesage to boys, even though i got a A plus on every subject in school. the way he act affect my mom too. now my mom is much picker than before, but they are so good together.how to deal with him???

My mom is way to overbearing and to controlling. Any time I try to suggest something or express an opinion, that even slightly contradicts hers, she yells at me and tells me how wrong I am. Sometimes she even tells me that I don't know anything and commands me like a dog. I've tried to sit down and tell her that it really hurts me and even makes me cry sometimes, but she won't hear a word of it. Then the yelling begins again. Please somebody help me. How do I tell her w/o making her angry? (try to begin with something creative, because every time I say "I don't like it when..." or "It upsets me when..." She goes balistic and tells me it is not my place to say what I like and don't like. I'm 15 if that helps."

you have tons of family overseas and live and work in America but prefer to go overseas because of the better lifestyle especially with family....i have 3 weeks paid vacation but feel i should be overseas for at least 2 months out of the year...anyone can give me advice on how I can handle the situation...thanks

I'm 31 years old and my wife is 24. We have 4 children with twins. Have been married for 6 yrs.

My wife has 3 sisters and a brother. One of the sisters and brother are married. My other two sister in laws are 17 & 15 yrs and they have been living with us for the past six years.
I treat my two sister in laws as my own daughters and they call me dad and I'm fine with that. My wife's parents died when they were 3 & 5 yrs. They've been living with us for 6 yrs and they have called me dad all this time. My wife's happy about it and says I'm great.

I treat them like my own daughters from my heart and have done everything to them including all expenses. I've bought two houses for them, for their marriage. They say that I am like their own dad and even kiss me, when going out.When I married they were 9 & 11 and from then they have been kissing me Is it okay for them to kiss me in a father daughter way and calling me dad?

this is kinda hard to fully explain for the longest my mother has treated me like the outsider of her children. all together there are five of us, 3 girls and 2 boys. me being the youngest girl and my 13 year old brother being the youngest boy we are treated like crap!

but my mother has always picked on me for whatever reason she tries to jeapordize everything that i try to do and she talks about me like a dog. but im the only one of her children so far that is trying to make somethinf out of themselves. I was just accepted into medical school, i work partime, and im practically homeless! i dont have any kids but i work hard. my older sis, had kids early and never went to college, but she tells me all the time im stupid, ugly, etc etc... What is her deal? why does she hate me and im pretty much the only good child that she has.

she wont help me to get finaial aid, cause i need her tax papers because in under 25 years old!

ok im 15 and i took my parents car when they left the house to take my grandparents to a hotel! i was driving telling my friend on phone while i was driving in reverse and i left a tire trail on the grass! how can i fix this! my stepdad cuts the grass every tuesday and he might see it help! ;(

I've been happily married to the love of my life for 3 years. 1 year ago we found we were expecting our first child. We were both very excited! We fournished a baby room, baby proofed the house, and have started going back to church regularly. Three months ago I gave birth to our son, Gabriel. At first things went good, we were both excited. But then he started to act strange. He worked late and when he got home slumped in front of the tv. I'd ask him if he wanted to help out with Gabriel but he would always refuse. He also decided he didn't want to go to church regularly anymore either. He always found excuses to not interact with Gabriel and eventually was starting to tune me out too! We argue and fight constantly now. I don't know what is wrong with him! I feel like I'm losing my husband! What is wrong with him?

my ex has not had any contact with my daughter for the past 6 years. We were never married. I am married now and we gave my ex a chance to be a part of her life but he did not want it.
