My brother is 16 and his girlfriend is only 14 years old. she think we are family since she goes out with my brother. she thowing a birthday party for my dad this friday. i dont like the way she talks to people and the way thats she acts round people. do u think i should get to know the girl or just leave it alone. The weekend is the only time i get to see my brother because he lives with our aunt and i live with my mom and we both goes to diffent school

Everyone in my family misunderstand me.They think i am selfish.I am a bit lazy i admit but not selfish. They quarrel with me almost everyday over my small mistakes.BUT my mom is caring & loving, my dad too loves me alot but does'nt show his feelings & prefers being strict with me. MY COUSINS make fun of me because i am sensitive & emotional & don't take all the things from materialistic point of view.THEY criticise me , pass comments on me & make me cry. I don't say anything because i don't want to hurt anybody's sentiments as they are elder to me. Moreover i am not like them.CAN YOU BELIEVE IT THEY THINK BUYING BOOKS IS WASTE OF MONEY? I am suffering from a sense of inferiority complex. PLEASE HELP ME.

my mom rolls her eyes if I ask her to watch my kids (for even an hour) The woman does nothing all day. HAsn't worked a real job in over 30 years (she is 54) She fills in as a daycare sitter 3 days a week for her friends business. I am staying with her until my husband comes home from active duty (military) I need to rely on someone for childcare because I like to work. Yet when I do ask her I get "again" or " I just watched kids all week!" ( 3 days remember) My kids are not brats, they are funny sweet kids...they are not the problem. My issue is, in my time of need, is she being selfish? or am I?

She lives in America with electronic gates on her drive. I could invite myself over there on a holiday, but I think she'd watch me like a hawk. I don't need to get that tomato back, although obviously as I grew it myself it has some sentimental value. I just want to know how I can get my own back on her.

I have reason to believe i'm cursed. At 27 i cant find a man to marry let alone to date. I go to an apostolic church, where there are phophets who keep telling me some evil spirits from some dead relatives are following me and not too good is going to happen to me. What do you think of this.

I havent spoken to my mother and sister for many years for numerous reasons and my grandmother died yesterday, my family never informed, my children heard it through the grapevine when they where out with their friends,I would obviously want to go to the funeral but there will be alot of bad feeling there,what would you do go and face hostility or keep away?I have 3 children that want to go but without me they will also stay away.

I read a question the other day about this lady who is having behaivoral problems with her teen boys and someone answered "thats what happens when you have kids out of wedlock". What kind of crap is that? who are these people to judge someone they dont know who is asking for advice? My kids are also out of wedlock both from the same dad we didnt married because he was abusive so I got my babies and got out. I raise them by myself, I dont get public assistance and I have a good job and attend colleg part time. My kids (2 boys ages 6 and 11) are very well behaived and make good grades, having kids out of wedlock has nothing to do with how a child acts, Im very proud of my boys, its funny though the two neihbor boys whos parents are married and they are "Christian" get into more trouble and have had the law called on them imagine that, my wedlock kids are more behaived then the christian kids down the road, who Ive had to call the cops ona couple of times. Why do people judge so much?

I'm 31 years old and my wife is 24. We have 4 children with twins. Have been married for 6 yrs.

My wife has 3 sisters and a brother. One of the sisters and brother are married. My other two sister in laws are 17 & 15 yrs and they have been living with us for the past six years.
I treat my two sister in laws as my own daughters and they call me dad and I'm fine with that. My wife's parents died when they were 3 & 5 yrs. They've been living with us for 6 yrs and they have called me dad all this time. My wife's happy about it and says I'm great.

I treat them like my own daughters from my heart and have done everything to them including all expenses. I've bought two houses for them, for their marriage. They say that I am like their own dad and kiss me.When I married they were 9 & 11 and from then they have been kissing me Is it okay for them to kiss me in a father daughter way on the cheek and calling me dad?

I am 24 and not married yet( I will be getting married by july,my spouse is away for education and will be back by then).I hate my mother and she too,can not tolerate me.the way she acts with my sister is really different with the way she treats me. when ever I try to make friends with my mom,she ruins all my plans!
I miss my spouse so much and I just can't live without him.but I have to wait till he is back.so I need to have peace at home in order to deal better with my problem.
My sister who is married and has a child is a disaster too.she is always telling me what to do and bothering me.
My father is not friendly at all.as bad as my mom.but my main problem is my mom. I totaly hate her.how can I tolerate her??

I'm 21 and I've never seen my dad. I just recently found someone who I think is him. He has the same name, born in the same month and year, and has previously lived where I am from. I have a phone number and an address. I wrote a letter to him bc I'm to scared to actually call the number. What if he has another wife and kids? Would I be hurting his family by contacting him or is my need to actually know who my dad is more important? I don't know what I should do, and what would be the easiest on him.
