How do a child know if their being abuse? Is getting whooped with no clothes but a t-shirt abuse?

I have 3 children,they are 16,12 & 8,i have never smacked any of my children and i feel that the punishment you have just described is a form of child abuse.There are hundreds of types of abuse not just physical

YES! Call the police, hell call 911 if this is going on. If you can't call right at the moment, then call as soon as you are out of the grip of your abuser. If this is about someone else, take it to the police and to the child protective services NOW. Do not wait, this child is dieing inside and he or she needs your strength and courage to help them out of this situation.

I do not know, some people will say call the police , which will cause problems some people will just say suck it up it is part of growing up, which obviously has made you feel bad. You are the only one who knows if it has gone to far.
