Family - October 2006

My 23yr old son, daughter-in-law and 17mo old have moved in with us for hopefully a short time. Son is currently not working but going to school, just got out of the service. I watch the baby during the day. My son does not lift a finger around the house at all. We are not asking for money or even for him to do anything. Twice this week he has left a pair of jeans on the living room floor all night and the next day because he fell asleep on the couch. I said tonight, after the baby toys and all were picked up, "now if we can just get Chad to not leave his jeans on the floor" and he got extremely rude. Told me we needed to pick up our stuff around the house, he's tired of looking at it. That stuff is bills and mail laying on the counter because I haven't gotten to them yet. Said I talk to him like a child. I am so so angry I'm not sure how to calm down. Would that pis* you off or am I being a nagging mom?

From the minute they get up to the minute they go to sleep they fight. They can't do anything together without arguing about it. It's not too bad in the summer when they can go out and play but on rainy days it's dreadful. I'm at my witts end.

me and my husband moved in with my mil 2 yrs. ago. She stole $400 from us, our only wedding photo(they were destroyed in a fire) and some other things. My mother had just come out of the hospital where she almost died and my mil came over cursing at my mother telling her she saw me with another man. (which was a lie) she has hated me from the day we met. she would always talk about how skinny she was and how big her boobs were in front of me. i guess to try to get me jealous. My husband doesn't want to talk to her and wants to cut off all ties with her until she can become more of a mother. we dont live with her anymore. and she hasnt come to visit us in 2 yrs! do u think its bad to cut off ties with her? without her in our life we are very happy. We dont have someone trying to ruin our marriage anymore. i know its his mom but what kind of mom steals from her own son? what would you do?

i only have on day off a week and it's always rain on that day !!!
is there some way i can have a sunny day off

should i give up and buy a rain mac
is it becouse there is a labour party in power
or is it becouse north korea testing

If i feel something is going wrong in house balance, or if i dont like something i will try to show through my eyes. But he always asks seeing my eyes sadness only one question,what happened ? U are not well? Thats all. I get shock with that question. Or really he is not understanding? Or he is not able to catch my feeling? I confuse with this behaviour.People tell eyes express a lot.

I want help from this group and I think you all can help me in a better way.
It will be a small Question but very important for me, I want tell you the exact situation so you all can understand and guide me in a proper way.
I am 24 Yrs and I am in love. He love me equally and I have no problem from his side, but my problem is that my dad is not accepting our relationship. He is exact match for me but he is not from my cast and this is the main problem for my Dad. I spoke to him ( my Dad ) twice but he is telling that he is ready to do every thing for me but he can not accept him ( my BF).I told everything to my dad but after that my dad start doing emotionally blackmail to me.

The man who hurt my baby was a family friend.He was like family for over ten years. We had all the same friends and were like a big extended family. When I found out what he did,my husband called our friends.They were all concerned about keeping him calm.I wanted to go to the man's house and kill him or at least hurt him real bad but they all said I was being "irrational" and held me back and said to let the police handle it.When my car was stolen a few months later,my husband took a friends car and went looking for it with a gun! I felt like everyone around me had lost their minds! Now I feel like I wouldn't still be hurting so much if I had been able to do what I needed and am angry at my husband 4 years later for not standing behind me when I needed him to. Am I the one who's crazy?We found out that this man had been doing this for years and getting away with it because no one ever told. The court gave him 4 years in jail.My daughter is still afraid he'll get out & come after her.
