She lives in America with electronic gates on her drive. I could invite myself over there on a holiday, but I think she'd watch me like a hawk. I don't need to get that tomato back, although obviously as I grew it myself it has some sentimental value. I just want to know how I can get my own back on her.

I understand the sentimental value of the tomato, but really, you need to let it go...you know she took it and what are you going to do about it? When you grow your next batch of tomatoes, ask her if she would like a few.

She may have eaten the tomato. Aunts do things like that.

It sounds like her security is very good.

Send her a letter offering new tomatoes for old. Offer her two new tomatoes for every old one she sends you. Make it look like a genuine offer from a big company intent on building up goodwill among tomato-fanciers. Give the address as c/o somewhere that will accept post for you.

Your aunt will probably jump at this offer and post at least one, but more probably several, ripe tomatoes to the address.

Then you will have your revenge.

It is your choice whether to tell her about it or just laugh creepily to yourself

Hey life's too short to worry over a tomato mate. Unless its made of solid gold I suggest you let go and concentrate on getting a life instead.........

Tell her it was poisoned and hasn't much time left. You will find the anti-dote. And you will bring the anti-dote to her. She will take the poison. Wipe the container clean, put her prints on it. And phone for emergency services to tell them what you found upon arrival.

You won't be wanting the seeds,,,believe me.

What do you want? Her to go to jail? Go to her house and pick a flower or something if it would make you feel better.
