My wife's a primary school teacher and if you think that the kids are the only ones who go hyper in the holidays, you've got another thing coming - I've got to keep dragging her down off the ceiling, but it'll all end in tears next Monday morning!!

Its not just that I have my 4 children at home, all other family members with kids have decided that it would be fun to all be together Argggggg My sister and her 2, my best mate and her 4 and my sister in law and her 3 HELP. I am hiding in the study with a chair against the door. The kids are tearing around looking for more food. The adults are barricaded in the kitchen with the coffee, and my husband is refusing to come home from work.
Dont you just love school holidays.!!!?
Whats even more worrying is that we're all going to Devon tomorrow in a caravan. I think I might become a missing person till its all over!

The Mums round here have just had a lucky break - The council have provided 3 skips on the street and now all the kids are empying the neighbours gardens and picking up all the rubbish that has been dumped everywhere. Rain coats, wellies, rubber gloves and the chance to get covered in muck - The kids are in their element!

I don't think any of the parents where I live have taken time off to be with their kids, there are gangs of them wandering the streets and sticking fireworks in post boxes, I have been threatened on my way home from work by a gang of teenage girls and man it's scary!!! I'm an adult and too scared to walking my neighbour hood, I am not a parent, but am still looking forward to school starting again!!

Actually I am not too bad as my mum had a weeks holiday from work and offered to mind my lil girl for me..........she's having a ball with my mum!!!

I would have had to pay for childcare otherwise as i had no holidays left myself!!!

Thank god for mums!!!
