Indeed. My parents and I have brown hair. And my brother is blond. My Grandfather was a blond. Somewhere down the line someone had red hair. There new baby's hair will probably darken when the little one gets older. No worries.

Yes, very possible. (Don't blame the milkman, just yet! lol) It can go back generations in his or her family, and can pop up at any time. It has to do with the whole family genes, not just how the mother and father look. We have this in our family on my dads side. Most of us have brown hair, and suddenly my cousins, at least 5 or 6 of them had been born with bright orangy red hair.

Of course, it is possible. Genetics for a child are not solely predicated on the birth parents. Traits and characteristics are passed down through several generations. It is quite possible one of the parents' grandparents had red hair. And besides, the fact that it happened should show you it is possible.

Depends on how red it is. I mean is it orange? Or more Auburn.
Plus it depends on if there are previous generations with red hair.
The only reason I know is because my parents both have brown hair, but mine is a shade of Auburn. For me it's because my grandmother, one of my mom's cousins and two of my mom's great-aunts have red hair. Not orange, but a (more red) Auburn colour.
That's the only non-scientific reason I can think of.
Hope it helps!

Yes it's possible. I can't explain why, though. My cousin has red hair. Everyone in his family has either black or brown hair. Only one other person (a great great great grandmother) in his family has red hair. So it's possible.

Yes it is completely possible. Look around the family are you all clones with the same hair and eye color?
My cousin had a beautiful daughter - they are both blonde with blue eyes . She has black hair and eyes. He screamed for a DNA test - shocker there.
Made a complete fool of himself with some of the BS he said and must now live with.
It is HIS daughter and she is the spitting image of her Native American great grandmother.

Yes, it's called genetics. Case in point....Both of my parents had dark brown hair when I was born, and my hair is blond.
