They want to live life there way not your way. rebellion. I was kinda like that then i grew up. Its something we have to learn on our own. When they have kids they will finally get it.

Typically, kids become the totally opposite of what their parents want/are. The kid with the poor blue color dad, gets a suit and tie job and the kid with the doc dad becomes a circus clown. It's just genetics.

Sorry to tell you this but it is something u did..What u tell kids and what u show them are two completely different things. There are alot of things u could of done.Like tell them they couldn't do something and u were doing it.Or not be consistant on your rules and punishments..The list goes on...The main thing is you can have a heart to heart talk with them and hope for the best.I wish you all the luck.

My parents have raised me the same way and Im doing okay. I just it just depends on kids and what they go through in life. In my opinion friends and peers have the most influence on how kids/teens are going to turn out. Kids are cruel.

I think it's because people want to be who they want to be. I didn't want my kids to go to college because at that time it was very expensive and we had no money, but my two girls insisted on going. We had to take all kinds of loans, but I was happy when I found out all the money they started to make when they graduated from college. I guess you can't make people do what you want, it has to be something they want.

hahah thats life.
realize, no matter what you raise them as, they will do what suits thier heart best.
What matters is you raise them well.
That way they will be good people doing what they love, instead of something else.
