My 15 yo daughter's girlfriend moved in with me about two months ago because her family is very dsyfunctional. Her mom was evicted and currently lives in a motel. Recently, her mom became very verbally abusive over the phone calling her names and telling her she was nothing more than a screw up. In order to fix things, the daughter apologized and the relationship continues. I don't know how to help this young woman figure out how to have a relationship with her mom that is not damaging. Ideas?

Any of you guys ever have this problem? You tell your girl lights out by 10 p.m. and they throw a temper tantrum and act like they are the only women who get bedtimes...yeah right...am I being ridiculous here? i don't think so...on the weekdays she has to get up early to pack lunches and make breakfast.

Ok well, you know how when you go to the store, and if you like see a purse, then look inside and there's that tissue paper stuff? And you can also find it in other new stuff, they put it in their to make it look new you know? Well, my sister kept getting new purses ALL the time. And right after she got one she would want another. My suspicions grew. i went to her room and asked her why this is, i said "you have like 4 perfectly good purses!!" and she said "they're cool" and then i said "ok whatev" and shes been so weird. the next night she went to the mall (shes 17) gets a new purse, and then comes home. my parents suspicions grow too. that night, we were going to eat dinner, and so i went upstairs to tell my sis dinner was ready. i opened her door, and there were those tissue papers from all the purses scattered on the floor. one was in her mouth, and the ones on the floor were chewed and soggy. i asked and she said "I DONT KNOW OKAY?" we ate dinner in silence. why is she doing this?

I have a wonderful son named Steven who just turned 14 this past August. For his birthday, I got him a beautiful handpainted porcelain doll from JC Penney's that he named Patricia.

He's been collecting these porcelain dolls sinc he was 8 or 9. This last doll nearly cost me an arm and a leg though so I told Steven that he can't play with it like he plays with his other dolls, that Patricia had to stay on the shelf.

Anyway, this morning after I got back home from Costco, I walked in to my 14 year old son Steven's room and caught him trying to breastfeed one of his new doll.

My first thought was that how wonderful of a dad Steven's going to be, but my second thought was that the oils from his skin were going to stain the white porcelain. I'm afraid he's going to ruin the porcelain. Is there a cleaner I can use that's gentle enough for the porcelain? What's more, is that he was wearing my new bra I got from Lane Bryant and he stretched it out.

My cousin is 28 and still lives with his mom (who is a very quiet and humble woman). She has asked him to find a job and move out, and he says he will but he doesn't. He has no girlfriend, no job, no money, no children...no attachments, basically. He stays up until 3 or 4 in the morning playing computer games, and wakes up around noon or 1pm. So a very inconsistent lifestyle. Not only that, but he doesn't show up to a lot of our family get-togethers.

He is not a bad guy AT ALL! He is really nice, but he just makes really bad decisions. I think it is part being lazy, part selfishness (he is getting free rent, free food, etc...), and possibly he may be a little depressed?

I need advice on HOW to go about getting him to get a job and MOVE ON in his life. He is a little bit of an aggressive guy (think football player build with a 15-yr-old mind), so my aunt is a little afraid to "kick him out." I need some really mature and reasonable answers to help him. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!

Some I know include Canadian MP's Art Hanger and Inky Mark. Also retired Canadian gas jockey Dick Assman (I know, it's pronounced Ussman is German). Also, does anybody know real people with these names:

Eileen Dover
Frank N. Stein
Sue Mi (last name pronounced "me")

Just curious...
