The Republican Right Wingers came to power and said that they were all Bible-reading Christians who upheld Christian values like righteousness, honesty and integrity. Then they proceeded to pervert these values to such extremes that anyone thinks that they can do absolutely anything because of the examples our leaders are setting. The 10 Commandments say, "Thou shalt not lie and Thou shalt not kill", yet our President lied to us about Al-Qaeda being connected to Iraq and Iraq having WMDs. So he put our troups in the position of not knowing who to shoot in a civil war that we started illegally and that has no end. Jesus said, "as you do to the least of these, my brethren, you do to me". The Republicans and Congress have increased the wealth and decreased the taxes of the wealthiest 1% of our population, while they have dismantled our social safety net, decreased medical benefits for veteran, the elderly and children, cut education funding while raising standards and testing requirements, created an inflationary economic spiral the likes of which has not been seen since the Nixon Administration, has systematically crushed the middle class, has caused an unprecedented job outflow to overseas companies, and on and on it goes.
Whatever happened to righteousness, honesty and integrity? Most people cannot stand to think that they voted for this man TWICE. The cognitive dissonance in their brains has forced them to shut down the reasoning centers of their brain. Most of them are so busy working 2 jobs, that they don't have time to think much anyway.

Yulnores is correct. If you scout around, you will find right in your neighborhood Boy Scout troops where the honorable values are still taught and practiced as serious things.
Yet, Boy Scouts is under heat because they won't let HOMOSEXUALS TEACH THEIR SEXUAL LIFESTYLE TO THOSE BOYS!
Don't get me wrong. There are also some scout troops where messed up parents with no moral values cut corners and ignore traditional morality. Nothing in this world is perfect.

Still there, judging by the presence of their respective antitheses (afterall, there would be no antithesis if there is no thesis) namely immorality, corruption and fragmentation.
Is there any good people around? Yes, except that my proof there is the preponderance of the bad ones who are more visible.

Well, to all those who answer in the negative, please think again. It is still there, alive and kicking,, you say it is lost gone down the drain, because you yourself don't have them anymore, or you don't want to believe in them anymore. Simply put, you are not into it yourself simply because others are not.
Think again.. would it not be better if we start it again with ourselves, hoping and determined to influence others into it..
