My mom and dad is being so mean and concerned about me having a girlfreind and they want me to brake up with her and many other things I so want to kill them

My 8 yr old son wanted his ear pierced so I got it done for him by a friend. My husband whom is deployed to Iraq said that he did not want it done "because he said so" and "its good to be king" no other reason. My son however wanted it done and is capable of taking care of it. My daughter has 3 piercings in each of her ears. My son has only one in his left ear. When he was having his ear pierced 2 other girls and 1 other 8 yr old boy were having their ears pierced so I felt that I could not give a good reason (other than dad said because I said so) personally I thought it was fine. If his best friend was having it done, what reason can I find not to let him have one. What message am I sending my son if I allow my husband to dictate everything. Am I teaching my kids that just because men say so thats the end of it? Or did I do both of my children a disservice by disrespecting their fathers request?This all makes me feel like I don't have a say so. So bottom line is did I handle this ok?

Let me share something that made my day-to-day life easier.

Living so far from town, I am always looking for anyway to save time and money. I get tired of driving over the mountains whenever we need things for the house or ourselves.

This can be a business opportunity as well...you get paid to shop...this was my first month and just buying the normal things we use all the time ("Anyway Money"...money you would be spending anyway) I got a check direct deposited to my account....

I think woman is like the jewellery, that must be covered from the public to not steal it from you.

Im 14 and iv had problems with my mum for years we just clash and dont really get on we have tryed but everything i d ring or not her way she go up the wall and out into space. I was really close to my dad but recently his parents came to stay for a minth and things started going downhill my sister started getting all the attention and i was all on my own. Even my grandparents prefere her. i dont know if its cuz she younger but all of this is getting me dwon i sometimes cry myself to sleep its getting really bad and i have tryed speaking to my friends but the dont really know what to do has someone got any advice. xxx

I know i should not but i get jealous of my older sister, she gets do much more and shes so much prettier then me. i dont hate her and i get along with her most times but i still feel that way, does others get like that to?? it makes me feel bad.

i am the only person he told. his dad is very violent and his mom and brother and him can't leave cause thier dad has all the money for their family. They can't sue him because he has a cover story which is a lie, but it is believable. I know that my friend is tellin the truth because i've seen and met his dad and he yells constantly and is rude and awful. is there anything i can do to help.

I am a single-mother and I have 2 children. My ideal weekend is all about relaxing from work and from school. I don't like to plan things on weekends. Once in a while we have plans but most of the time, we relax and do what we like.

I look around and many other families are so busy during the weekend. They go to museums, festivals, activities, etc.

As a child, during weekends, I'd play with friends. Once in a while, we'd visit museums or do special activities and I find it was special because it was not part of the regular routine.

This question is for teens, parents and single-parents.

What is a 'normal family' lifestyle to you?
I'd like to know your view on this. Thanks!

Right, stay with me on this one!
My partners family all live in Essex, we live in the SW. We have a 10 month old daughter and every month he takes her up to stay with his family for 4 days. He works in London and his mother looks after our baby during the day, she is 65 and has given me cause for concern. Do you think a lady of 65 is capable of looking after such a young child? I once nearly caught her putting our baby in a boiling hot bath, she said it was an honest mistake but what if there are more "mistakes" that she doesn't tell me about? I hate letting her go up there, the mother hates her town and says she's frightened to go out sometimes so why take my child out? From here I am powerless to stop anything from happening. I don't know what to do as it'll come between my partner and I soon.

My sister and i are going out with these guys. They are brothers. Recently my boyfriend kissed my sister who is 10 years younger than me and 12 years younger than my boyfriend who is 32 this year. She pushed him away and then came along and told me and her boyfriend. I slapped her. Her boyfriend wasn't mad at her cause it wasn't her who kissed him. It popped up in my mind one day while i was surfing the internet and i saw famine, death, and suffering everywhere. I could do nothing to stop this chaos and i'm working my very hard to cope up with work and the stresses of life.,.. and i thought that one day we all are gonna die(sad reality.. better accept it) but, what really bothers me is that " how much or what i did to contribute in making this world a better place? or even helping others without the question of being paid back..."
I thought that if in anyways that i'm gonna die someday, my little known exsistence would have maybe a little impact on this world.
