My daughter only wants to read books,or play on computer, or watch T.V.
She refuses to do choirs at home, has problems with classmates and teachers and is somehow isolated from his surroundings.
When we are invited to a party, she brings book with her and keeps reading until we come back home and refuses to communicate with others.

My children cry when grammma doesn't know their names or don't want to spend time with them and are always with the other kids and ignores them,,,, nor do they act like they want them at their house,,, i just don't know what to do or tell them,,,,, i cry along with them.... what do i do??????

so my moms family HATES me... Im not rude to them or disrespectful tword them unless they act that way to me. but they dont liek that i dye my hair or have piercing. and my aunt hasnt talked to me since may b/c she said that the relationship i was in wasnt a real relationship b/c im to young (im 18) and i was with the guy 3 years and i told her that it her opinon wasnt going to change anything..and my g-pa talks about me behind me my back to my brother... they all tell me i need another job and need to make more moeny..when i alredy have a fine job...none of them act like i have real feelings. what do i do?..im not aplogizing b/c i didnt do anything wrong!

also..

im am sooooooooooooooooooo close to my dads family..i love so them much..so they make up for it!..my cousion on my dads side is like my best friend!..but i still dont know what to do about my moms family.

Is the addicted parent(s) still addicted? Have they recovered? If they are still addicted, how do you cope with it?

I'm 23 years old, have an alcoholic father, he's not in recovery. He was never around, and still has no active part in my life. I choose to cope by pushing it out of my mind.

I'm curious how others are coping.

I hate this... I can't do anything without my damn stepfather getting into my business... until I'm 18 (in a few months), I still have to put up with it... Whenever I use the phone, I have to take both of them to make sure no one's listening one the other line... and until I got my own computer, I couldn't do anything on the family computer without him violating my privacy.
Does anyone else have intrusive step-parents like this? How can I deal with it until I can move out? I feel trapped, and I hate it.

My cousin only talks to me when she's my herself but if she with her friends; she stares at me, she ignores me & she tells people she showed me how to dress & dance!!! Which of course its totally untrue she the one copying me, she buys the same pair of jeans & the exact shirt...ohhh she just q on my nervous but i try to be nice!!! Why do u think she's like that?

She wants him to paint our bedroom and put down some new carpet. Well he has 'mental problems' and used to steal her panties when they were teenagers. Sometimes he would wear them on his head, other times he would cut them up to make capes for his GI Joes.

He's supposedly 'better' now but I am not comfortable with this...still he needs the money.

i luv my mom and dad so much and i luv them equally but im thinking of moving in with my dad but i dont want to get my mom mad at me and hate me. my mom is cool and everthing but her and my step dad fight too much and they somtimes throw stuff around for the stuipidest reasons and sometimes i get scared. my dad is cool to i have so much fun over their and he understands me better than my mom does and i want to live with him also because all my friends that i knew forever live right next to him. and i alredy kind of want to live with him and i dont know how to ask him if i can start living with him because im scared he might say noo.... what am i spose to do pleaz help me!!!!!!!!!!!!

So long story short I'm 18, he's 13 and I found some weed in his room (He actually took a lock box out of my room, that I was using, put the stuff that was in it in a random spot in my room, and hid it in his room with the stuff in it...smooth).

So my question is this, should I confront him? My parents? Let my parents eventually find out on their own? I'm also heading off to college in 17 days, I don't want these last 17 days to be awkward as hell, should I wait till I leave?

Me and my fiance are renting an apt in a couple days, temporarily we live with them. We work 12 hour shifts together, and we are trying to save money. Everytime me and him buy food for us, they complain saying that we only think of ourselfs, But they do the same **** to. I really am tired of it, like we are suposed to provide for them all the time. When we did buy food for the house, my little sister ate it all in a matter of LESS than a week. Any suggestions?

what it is that i rang home one afternoon from work and told loz (ps this isnt loz) to tell her mum that i wont be back from work till quart to 7 so dont start cooking till 7 and then my boyf rang and said his family had invited me to theirs for tea and its kinda a big deal to me that they like me and soi rang home and said dont cook and she already started cooking and now she hates me i know she is jealous of my relationship with my boyf's family and that she thinks she is losing me to them, which isnt true, please help this is really effecting me as i already suffer from depression and this is making it worse help!

When I was younger I was bullied by a elder sibling, who made my life hell. I had difficulty in school because of dysleksia, and on purpose he use to quiz me on my spelling and maths which I found difficult in front of younger sister then she would start to copy and I would end up staying in my room and not going down if they were in the room my brother made me feel a fool. My dad was my rock and he stood by me. And I still am defencive and insecure. But out of the the 3 of us I am succesful I am training to be a social worker I have my own car and flat and I am married. They are still at home unemployed. But when I go home to see my mum who is not well. I sometimes stay at home to support her as she is frail now. The younger sister who I have helped out with money and lots of things. Has raked up the past again with my older brother and was saying things that really hurt me when I was younger. What shall I do, It seems that I cant escape the past. Shall I stop helping this sister
