All parents should be checking any and all accounts that their children have. Not just myspace.
You should let your children know that you are out of respect for your children,
There are to many predators, child molesters, sicko's out there not to be worried about your kids.
The safety of our children should be a top priority.

I check up on my daughters myspace but I do tell her and she's fine with it. We have a good relationship and we don't hide things from each other. I respect her privacy she respects my position.

yes and other parents should too, with all the internet predators. have your childs myspace set to private so not just anyone can read it! with it on private only people who are in the friends list can view it.

I definitely check their my space accounts. I have always told them if they dint talk to me and let me know what is going on in their lives then i will find out on my own. By checking my space i found out my son had flunked out of college and i better prepared myself for this info.

i have a 17 year old daughter, and i check hers OFTEN...
she knows it
good parents check!
there are a lot of perverts out there!!

Yes all the time, they always tell me I am being nosy but like I tell them it is my job as a parent to be nosy.

definate yes, and shes ok with it. at first she was upset and said that I didnt trust her, I told her it was the friends that she had that I didnt trust. Shes pretty accepting about it now. she knows I do it because I love her.

Yes, and I didn't like what I read.... I warned her .... when I check it again samething so I closed her account!!!!!!!
