Like CRAP! Instead of motivating me, it made me feel beat down and depressed. So the minute I got the chance, I moved to the other side of the country where I never had to seek for their approval again.
BTW, my life turned out a helluva lot better after I got away from that negativity.

It is always upsetting to feel like you have let somebody down. I have been told many times by my father but I know deep down inside he still loves me and he has always wanted the best for me. That is what counts for me.

bad enough to not do it again and try harder. Kids need to know that sometimes, you feel bad. That is what makes us try harder. If it hurts to lose, than you work harder to win, if it makes you feel bad when you disappoint someone, then you work harder not to. Feeling bad is important. It is a necessary part of life.

well if it's like you didn't clean your room it's probably nothing 2 worry about but if it's something that you did on purpose and didn't mean for them to notice then you should apologize and make it up. and i feel disappointed but my parents r usually grumpy. but they're still fun.

Of course it would make anyone feel bad. You just have to make them not disappointed in you.
