Maybe your speaking too much. Try listening a lot and speaking a little. When you do speak, lower the volume of your voice. People will listen more to a soft voice than one that is loud and rattling on. Try really listening to yourself as your speaking and if you can be heard by others around you that your not speaking to try a lower volume. The first traits of and insecure person that people notice is that they are loud and talk constantly. For some reason they need to hear themselves above all in the area. People tend to tune out the loud people.
