When I say fighting I mean they HATE each other. I want to be able to talk to all of them without feeling like I am betraying someone. I know its not my fight but I cant help feeling guilty. I dont know what they are even fighting about anymore. They all embelish the truth so much its hard to keep up. I cant invite them all to events at the same time because of the fighting. They even had a fist fight at my wedding. Any advice? And not talking to them is not an option. I see them too often.

Is always complaining to me about how they have no money
But to me they seem to waste a lot.
And if her Hubby wants something he gets it
For example they have 4 computer because he wanted them.
I want her to stop telling me this because they really don't have a whole lot to spare but they aren't as broke as she makes it seem
How do I tell her nicely that I don't want to hear this all the time

I can't take it anymore. My father has been violent and verbally abusive to my mother, my fiancee, and me for basically my entire life. I've gotten to a point where I don't know how to deal with him anymore. (I have a feeling he is bipolar but he would never go to seek help.)

It has been getting so bad lately to where the littlest thing makes him snap into a whirlwind of F-bombs and name calling. He will even make up outrageous stories if he can't think of something to use against one of us. There are also days where hes really nice, like overly nice, and I can't help but stay in the mentality of him being mean and act accordingly. I am unable to move out of my house yet (I live w/ my parents obviously) cause of $$ issues but hopefully w/in a year I can.

My question is: does anyone have any suggestions on how to cope with this? I've tried the "ignore him and he'll stop" and "dont take it to heart" but I cant help it.

Serious answers only please. Thank you all in advance.

I used to be the PTA president 2 years ago in my Child's School. The board and myself did a lot of activities for the Children. We payed for each grade level to go on their field trip. We helped the staff puchase supplies, like a little over 650 Dictionaries, pencils, little over 1000 reading books for the library. We did many other things. After our term was over we left the new board last year a little over 25,000.00 in the bank.I found out last Friday that last year the fith graders did'nt go on a field trip. I also found out the board wasen't doing much for the kids. This year we have the same people on the board! My question is do I sit and do nothing about it or do I investigate what's going on? I believe PTA is supposed to encourage communication and cooperation between parent and school to ensure children receive the best possible physical, mental, social and spiritual education. I really don't see that happenning!!! Please someone give me advice...

Due to a very rough pregnancy I had to take a whole nine months off from work. Thankfully my job held my position for me and I am scheduled to return back to work in a few weeks, when my daughter turns 12 weeks. My fiancee doesn't want me to go back he says "She's to young and she needs her mother" and that I'm selfish. I just have a hard time letting him be financially responsible for my expenses. Also giving up my benefits (health, dental etc...) What should I do?

I'm not asking this question for myself. My son is way beyond the age for that sort of thing. I'm asking because two cooworkers were having an arguement about it. I told them, there is no age, there just comes a time when you stop (usually by age 3 or 4), it's not like a concious decision where you say "o.k you're 4 years old, you're not taking a shower with me". What do you think, what has been your experience?

My husbands sister, is a total b****. She's constantly treating me rudely, and leaving me out. I didn't understand what this dislike was caused from until a mutual friend told me that she thought her brother had been happier with a girl he dated in High School.11 years ago! We have one child and one on the way. After her last episode of being rude to both me and my husband I am feeling like I do not want to be around her. PERIOD. The most hurtful part is I see that she is begining to turn my other sister in law against me (who married into the family) Who I thought was really close to me and a sweetheart but when she is around my husbands sister her attitude totally changes. My husband and I have been married for 7 years now and I am expecting again now. I am at the point where I want to avoid all family stuff. How do I handle this?

Me and my sons father get into it all the time about his mother. She has other grandkids that she is always doing stuff for and she says the only reason she don't do for my son is because he doesn't need for anything. Thats not fair...or am I being petty. I feel like if you do for one you do for all. My son will be 1 on 9/11 and she has bought him 3 outfits and thats it in his whole life. She has never kept him either. The funny thing is my mom lives in MI and I live in FL (where the other grandma lives) and my mother sends a care package for my son (toys & clothes) at least once a month and my son has gone to stay at my moms house twice without me.!!!! The other grandma sucks as a grandma.

Hi, I love my brother who just graduated from college and is working on his first job. He dated his first serious girlfriend (I think) and has changed a lot since. He and I were raised in a conservative Christian family (though intellectually a little more liberal) but he's started going to pubs and doing lots of outdoor sports that he hadn't used to love so much. He's a very decent guy but seems to be affected a lot by his moods. For a long time I felt that he is rude to our parents and sometimes to me. The thing is, I feel he's way nicer to his friends than to us. He has a pretty good social life outside of the home but once he gets home sometimes he even ignores me on his way from tha entrance to his bedroom. Am I overreacting? To make things worst I have a disability that makes my life slightly more mundane/limited. Maybe that's mainly why I feel that the little bits of anger and the resistance I put up to stop any boiling over are just too much. HELP ME!!!!!

Im having a lot of problems at home with my dad, im not really sure why coz we used to get on so well. i went back to college to further my education last year ive got my dream job but its a brand new salon that yet to open so im waiting around. all my dad says is that i do nothing and im a p*ss taker. this just aint true im always cleaning up after him and my borther.

well the problem is he made it clear that he wants me out of the house and to be honest its probably best i am my fiancee thinks its a good idea to ask his mum and dad if i can live with them and pay rent and that he cant see a problem with them saying yes.

i really get on with them and i know they love me but i just dont know how to ask or explain without it saying like hey can i stay at yours and bug you.

is there any decent way of approaching this
