They were called Paul and Lisa Stanford born in Birmingham, but don't know if they are still in the area. Dad was called Colin (my dad) and there Mom was called Carol I think. If anyone know's anything please get in touch.

I feel ashamed to say this but here goes. My mother is in her mid 50's & has had polio in her 1 leg from birth. She wore a brace on her leg for most of her childhood & teen life until she became an adult & learned to walk unaided. Due to the strain in her other leg, her hip joint wore out & needed a full replacement. To this day she suffers from this horrible dissability but her personality draws people to her like a moth to a flame. Apart from all of that, she suffers from a skin disease called psoraisis along with other illnesses. I still live at home with my folks at the age of 26 and I lover my mom with all my heart. She does everything for me despite my lazy habits.

I feel ashamed that I never tell my mother that I love her & I fear that she may die having never heard those words from my mouth. I have tried but its just too hard. I need her to know that I love her without having to say it.

A couple of years ago my sisters friend told my stepmum that I said **** that I didnt and my stepmum psyched out and kicked me out of the house and I wasnt alowed to see my sisters for months because of her lyes... But I thought I had let it go but my sisters boyfriend brought it up the other day and I was really teary that day so I was emotionally tired already and it just made me wonder can I trust my stepmum after that and how am I supposed to feel when she takes some-one elses word over some-one who is supposed to be your daughter?

I am a very bad husband. i have sex often with girls i pickup for 1 nit stand whenver i travel. i know it is wrong, but i still do it. i have got STDs. after my wife got pregnant, i have another 1 nit stand and got STD. now i am worry that i pass it to my wife. after my wife pregnacy, i wear condom when we have sex. I am youngest of 6 - and it freaks me out that I will more than likely watch everyone in my family pass away before me (providing I don't have an accident).

The impending grief is not something I look forward to. I guess it makes up for us being the spoilt ones in our childhood - lol.

Do any other youngest children think about this?

My partner took 6 months off work at the beggining of january as our daughter was very sick in may he was offered a position at the same place as my mum which he took 5 weeks after starting he was offered the position of assistant manager my mum was really pleased at first then she decided to apply for the position they both had interviews and he got the job as he had more retail and IT experience since then my mum has been really nasty she rings me up and complains about him calling him names she has told the manager she wont take orders from him and i'm afraid she is going to sabbotage his chances of moving up any further if she had the job i would have felt a bit gutted but been pleased for her but she can't do this I dont even think it's about money as she has her and my dads wages and has a bought home we have 5 kids and sure;ly she should be pleased her grandchildren are getting a better quality of life can anyone give me any advice?

Well.... I am a divorced mother of 2. My 2nd husband and I divorced last August. I moved in with my parents and I am still living there. My brother passed away in a tragic accident june 2003. We were the only 2 siblings. To make a long story short.... my parents insist that i stay with them. I feel like I need to move and get on with my life. I have a boyfriend of a different race that I know my father does not care to much about me seeing... He was my first boyfriend like 20 yrs ago... Anyway they always make me feel guilty when I try to move. Any advise on what I should do? They struggle financially and i help them a great deal. How can I move out without feeling guilty?? My boyfriend has full custody of his 6 year old daughter and 3 year old son from his previous marriage. His daughter is taking it very hard that her mother really wants nothing to do with her despite my boyfriends wishes for them to see eachother. She had full custody for a while then called family services and said she couldn't do it anymore. She maybe sees her kids 1-2 times a month and now she is talking about moving away and has even told her kids that. For 20 min straight tonight she cried for her "mommy" and she does it about 2-3 a week. We tried to comfort her and I even thought about calling her mom so she could talk to her but we decided against it because we didn't want to give Emily false hope. We think the visits are doing more damage then good. How do you explain to a 6 y/o their mom wants nothing to do with them? I've told her that her mom is sick but she doesn't beleive me. She's starting grade 1 tomorrow and we're afraid this will interfear with her studies.
