Do not do this to yourself! Im the youngest of 11 and when my brother who was consider the little brother died of a heart attack and I had two neices die before they were four I realized how senseless. your body could give out before your parents. My father was 83 years old when my brother died of a heart attack. They may in the end greive over you! Your wasting precious time and energy.IM in my young 30s and When a parent dies there is alot of greif but you have no idea how much time i wasted because when I entered kindergarden my father was 63 and I spent so many years being a over protective little girl thinking ,my Dads old he could die any moment.I had 33 good years with him.Dont waste time on this.

Well, i am also the youngest of 8 but i don't quite agree with what you said. The thing i have learnt about life is that it does not matter who is the eldest or the youngest. That you are the youngest does not mean that the others will pass away before you. Hey! who told you that the youngest are the spoilt ones...... kidding you are right there, but that does not really have anything to do with feelings.

I don't think about that, but I hate the way the youngest has to witness every single family problem as a child, while the older siblings can move out. I'm the youngest of four.

I am the youngest of 4. I used to think like this. My father is one of the older children in his family. There are nine of them all together and he has already lost three of his younger siblings. His younger brother, who was in his very early 60's, just passed last week. My dad is 75 and still going strong. So I guess I have learned that when it's your time, it's your time.

Good God no! I'm the youngest of seven and if they all have to go before me then such it shall be. I feel nothing of grief till the moment is at hand, I feel their life now; the joy; the sibling confidences; connectedness. If it is to be then time will allow for grief then. What value to pay for the same pain more than once.

I'm also the youngest of 6. I've already had one sibling pass away. He was 29, and I was 22. Although its hard to deal with, I've learned to love my other siblings even more, and spend more time with them. If they do pass before me,, they will live on in my memory.

I'm a youngest child. Not only what you mentioned, but being the youngest (male) child makes you more likely to be gay if you have older brothers. See reference below. (From nih.gov, credible source.)

I am an only child, but I do have step-brothers and a step-sister, all of who I see maybe once a year at that.
I lost my father 10 years ago, and that was hard. And when I lose my mom, I truly don't think I will get over it, I will be crushed.
