Every women has different symptoms, but here is what it was like for me:
Sick in the mornings (for the first few months)
Swollen, sore breasts, Appetite increase, trouble sleeping, growing belly.... those are just a few. It's an amazing feeling having another person inside of you, and no matter how much anyone explains it to you, you will never know what they are talking about until you feel it for yourself. Feeling your baby kick and wiggle around is such an incredible feeling. I also got short of breath at the end of both my pregnancies, because the babies would jam their feet right up under my ribs and I would have trouble breathing. It is a very exciting and emotional time. You will be excited awaiting your baby's arrival and shopping for baby stuff. But someone could look at you wrong and you burst into tears. (blame it on the hormones) Some more physical symptoms of mine were, thick lush hair, healthy skin glow (no breakouts when i was pregnant) My hair grew really fast and thick during pregnancy. Oh and towards the end you can get swollen feet if you stand a lot in your job... It's a beautiful thing... but one must make sure to get all her beauty sleep because before long those will be faded memories of the past.

Downside: feeling huge, hot (if pregnant during summer months) and sick. Back aches, can't drink tea. You feel so miserable you want to die. And then there's the birth ...
Good things: having the baby kick in your tummy and seeing it! The special attention everyone gives you (although not on the tube or public transport) and the excitement of bringing a new life into the world.

I didn't really enjoy it. I found it uncomfortable and really tiring and nerve wracking the first time because you are not sure what to expect and are scared of anything going wrong. Saying all that though I would be over the moon if I found I was pregnant again.

Well... for me... I had to pee alot but never had morning sickness, then I had mood swings, then I could feel my baby moving around whenever he hiccupped or stretched or got startled, then my feet jiggled because they were retaining way too much water, and then... my vision blurred, my temperature went triple digit, my blood pressure skyrocketed to the point that I had to have magnesium sulfate pumped into me as it was the only way to prevent the fatal seizures I was dangerously close to having, and then... my baby was delivered 10 weeks early by C-section. I was left with a scar, anemia, the by-products of acute pre-eclampsia...... and a perfect baby boy who can now walk on his own, call me Mama and wave bye-bye.

On the plus side, your boobs fill out and a lot of women get that glow. Not to mention the joy of bringing a new life into the world.
On the downside, you're faced with sickness, hormones, crying, memory loss, the feeling that you've swallowed a foal whole and its legs don't wanna stay folded up.
It's bittersweet, really. I liked having somewhere to rest my cuppa ;-)

wonderful. There is the ache back and swollen bits and not being able to see your feet or cut your nails. You cant see beyond the bump but feeling the baby inside makes it all worth it.
It is hard work with the body changes but great and breast feeding is wonderful too.

It's totally different for everyone, some women love it and some hate it. Some are really sick and some get no sickness at all, some get huge, some have a really neat bump. It's all a lottery really. I loved it though.
