you and your cousin are first cousins, your cousins kids are your second cousins and your kids and their kids are third cousins.
The main point that matters is THEY ARE cousins.

Your child and your cousin's child are second cousins.
Hopefully, this illustration will help.
Two brothers each have children...
Their children = 1st cousins
Then their children = 2nd cousins
In other words...
If two brothers each have children... these children are first cousins. Then, their children would be second cousins to each other.
Now, for the hard part... the original first cousins are not second cousins to any further generations... they are still refered to as first cousins to these subsequent generations... they are just removed... hence, first cousin once removed, first cousin twice removed and so on. So... your cousin's children would be your first cousins once removed.

i just asked a question very smiler to this one( what are second,first and fourth cousins) from what i interpreted your children's cousin's child will be your children's second cousin. i am not sure about all this but that's the best that i can say. i hope you find out soon cos its interesting yet confusing stuff!

depends are they ur first cousin then ur cousins children are ur ist cousin once removed then when they have children the children will be 2nd and then 2nd once removed and then third and etc etc
