you never know until it happens. you've taught her up in the best way you possibly could, hopefully. so now you've got to trust her to make the right decisions. i mean you cna't live her life for her, or tell her every move to make. yeah, she'll make mistakes. i mean its bound to happen, but she should learn & grow from them.

She's not going to go to college and just be there for school. You should know, understand, and hopefully accept that right here and now. It's a matter of how well she can balance out her studies and her social life. The fact that she talks to people, online or offline, doesn't mean she's going to fail. It just means she has a healthy social life (I hope). You should be happy about that. It's all up to her whether she keeps her priorities straight once she gets there.

Do you love your daughter? Then you should expect that she will do the best she can, but maybe not according to your own narrow definition of success. You sound like a mom I would not want to have.

Give her a semester. If her grades are really bad, bring her home and have her attend a community college. Let her know whether she stays in college away from home depends on her grades.

She can succeed at whatever she puts her mind to. If Aspergers is her only problem, she should be perfectly capable. Just keep encouraging her.

It's up to her to worry about. She is college-aged now, and at that age, it is PERFECTLY normal to be talking with other people. I don't know her personally, but hopefully she will do her best. Good luck.

Remember college?
There is much less talking and much more drinking, drugs, and sex.
Yes she will succeed. Even the fat ugly one's do.
But whether she graduates is another question.

Since her parents are failiures at raising her, she'll probably fail. But MAYBE she'll see how miserable her parents are and succeed just so she won't be like them.
