I live with his family and we have his relatives coming to visit every other weekend. Whenever this happens any plans we have immediately go out of the window to accomodate his relatives. This has been going on for a while now and it is really bothering me. I dont want to come across as jealous and possessive though but i need to explain to him that this is really irratating me.

The park district only has programs for piano and guitar lessons. I have no idea how to being looking for a violin teacher or how much it will cost.

I have a ten yr old boy who sometimes could be very bad at times but i have seen a difference in him lately. Any good ideas of how I could reward him. No stupid remarks please i dont like anyone talking bout my kids or saying stupid thing that concern them.

My 7 year old brother can`t study on his own.We have to make him learn but still also he doesn`t learns nicely.He does`nt knows to read write any new word.Please give me any suggestions.

Lovely woman, heart of gold but a little bit annoying-likes to inspect my house and check my ironing etc. She wants to go shopping but I think I may end up sectioned by the end of it, does anyone have any ideas for keeping her occupied?

I asked part of this earlier. . .I'm just trying to give more detail. My daughter didn't eat any dinner last night and then an hour or two later wanted a snack.

Any of you experienced moms have advice?

I don't want to have to send her to bed hungry but I also want to find a way to let her know she can't just skip dinner and then expect a snack if she waits an hour or two.

My grandparents (fraternal) have never really been good to my brother and myself. They hate my mom because she is my father's 2nd wife and they think that divorce is evil. They also don't like her because she used to be a bartender when she was paying her way through school, but now they are both successful and still my grandparents hate her. They have always ignored our side of the family, only visiting us for 2 days on their way back to florida from my uncles in W.V. where they spend 5 months of the year. They always brag about my cousins, but never about us. I graduated high school 2nd in my class and now I'm in college and 90% independent. My brother is in high school and works full time in the summer and part time during school and keeps his grades up. My cousins hardly pass their grades and they are the ones she brags about and treats us like we don't exist. I hate to say it, but I can't stand it and I don't know how to get over it. Am I an awful person?

We switched babysitters about a month before my daughter started school. And my son who is 3, was / is fine when she is there. However, since she is gone, he keeps saying how he misses her and cries almost to a point of hysteria when I leave him in the mornings. Any suggestions on what to do? How long will this go on?

Ifeal really alone now as if i really am a new person, My attitude has changed and at 59 I have to start a new career because I can't do what I use to do. -Part of my problem is me--now I know its ok to be here something I never felt in my previous heart life for a lot of reasons. I don't get angry anymore or "mad"in fact I surprise myself at times at just how calm I can be as when I got pickpocketed 4 days before X-mas. I calmley went to the bank for the card stuff filed a report and felt sorry for who ever stole my wallet.but at the same time Ive now entered a world where you gptta be younger or rich. Well I can't get younger so I guess I have to get Rich but that won't solve my problem of being alone. so I will just keep on living as best I can and hopefully get a little more recovery so I can bemore productive. I've probably answered my own Q so if no one responds its ok .I'll be fine

I've always been very mature for my age, and so is my boyfriend. We are both students currently and working full time as well. We have begun talking about getting married and living together. I can't live with him until I get married because my father would hate that I was "living in sin" as he says but they don't want me to get married until I'm 30. My mother would hate that I was getting married at all, she always thinks that people with kids when they are under 30 are immature and irresponsible. I don't want children until I'm perhaps 27 or so, but I do want to get married and have a life together with my husband before then. He & I have been together 3 years so far and we are 21 right now, do you think we are rushing things by planning a wedding in 2 years?? I really wish my family wasn't so judgemental, they love my boyfriend, but I'm afraid to tell them when we do get engaged or even if I get pregnant (no matter what age I am). How do I get them to accept my decision?

thax for the answers. For those who answered me with accusations and no thought what so ever ......refering to my last question how do i deal with my step son? well heres some more info. hes 22 acts like 10!! he tried to ruin the wedding by makeing stupid comments! Ive tried the nicey nicey approach but he has no respect for me so why should i respect him!! and yes i have other children ones 16 and he respects me and his stepdad. he stole my dvd player. him and his brother punched my boy at the wedding.. you need more??

my girlfriends mum and dad just dont want to spend time with there grandchilden even though they live only a few miles away and we have we have no other family for 100s of miles,

i really feel sorry for our kids because we take them out nearly every weekend which is the most we can do, but i feel they are left in the dark from there grand parents, her mum and dad are not very old they go and do there own thing at weekends,

if me and my girlfriend want to go out on our own we will have to ask her mum to look after our kids but i feel she thinks she is doing us a massive favour, because we have to say thank you for baby sitting, which i dont mind saying but because they never volunteer.....

even on the rare occasion they have the kids they only have them 1 kid at a time and they never take them out,

also on the rare occasion 1 of the kids have a sleep over we would have to drive them over and collect them the first thing in the morning....

ok. i live with my mom and step dad, well here recently i found i have another dad in mississippi (he's my real dad i always thought my step dad was mt real dad). Well i did a people seach and found my real dad, and i called him up and we have been talking ever since. he is a really nice guy and i came to find out my mom kept him from seeing me. well my mom wants me to just leave him alone till i am 18 which is in dec. but he wont stop calling my bf or emailing me, and i wanna keep talking with him. so what do i do stop talking to him or keep talkimg to him. i think my mom just has past grudges and thats why she hates him, but does that give me a reason to hate him. HELP PLEASE!
