It's great to hear his behavior is improving mom. And yes he should be rewarded (positive reinforcement works best), but it shouldn't be something you buy for him. If you do that, he's going to learn to expect it and act out when he doesn't get anything. It might be best if you do something with him, like play a game, take a bike ride, make a craft, etc. It will also help that you tell him that you've noticed his good behavior and you are so proud of him. Kids love it when their parents do that. It was great of you to catch him while he was young...now just hold on to him through those teenage years! I wish you luck.

Its there a interest that he likes? For instance in our household my son absolutely loves video games but its limited as to the time frame he gets. During school nights - none and on Friday through Sunday only a hour a day. If I allowed him to play anytime he want, he wouldn't eat, sleep or go to school. So when he does something good, he gets rewarded with extra game time. This has been a huge success. As well if he is really good during the month, no relapses or major issues we reward him occasionally with Jared's day - we do whatever he wants, movies, dinner, etc. It has actually been a reward for the whole family and amazing bonding time to be truthful (you can learn a lot).

She's a fourth grader, childrens at that age communicate plenty. i might want to take a seat which includes her in the destiny and ask her what she thinks might want to help her with not conversing. Ask her even if it really is demanding to save in concepts now to not communicate if she sits by employing particular human beings and if she thinks that shifting desks might want to help. Get her enter, enable her communicate about the difficulty in an surroundings it really is not judgmental and is mushy. If she is attempting demanding to study strength of mind i do not imagine that punishing her might want to really help at this element, punishment is made to get a element for the era of and it style of appears like she's already were given the point. i imagine that part of the priority is that a number of those punishments are a house and the priority is at college. She needs a reminder at college it really is not likely to make her sense embarrassed. perhaps the instructor might want to enable her placed a touch piece of paper on her table that announces "sshh" or something that she will be in a position to be sure and be reminded of.

Tell him that you have noticed that his behavior has been good lately and that you appreciate it so very much that you would like to do something special for him, set a dollar amount and then ask if he has any suggestions. There is nothing better for a child than to feel appreciated and given praise when they do good things.

Don't limit my creativity! i suggest you take him somewhere he's interested in and do it together. Reward good behavior by doing and practicing more. If not, throw bacon at him.

Tell him how proud you are of him because he has been acting so mature. Take him out for a special treat and do something fun with him.
